The weakest Pokemon in the series is, uh, weak. Like there's not a lot you can really do to change that. Everything is equally terrible, so just give it a Sun Stone and grow yourself something usable out of it.
Oh, you want some kind of strategy for your solo nuzlocke run? Well okay, you crazy motherfucker, you start off with Mega Drain and that's about it until you learn Solarbeam, which is going to be a while regardless, since Grass STAB is hard to come by in these games. And then a couple Normal moves and Sludge Bomb. And you'll do very little damage with them, take a lot of damage from attacks and go after most Pokemon. You should not expect anything, really. So long as you evolve it before level 31, you should be able to work with its evolution relatively well. Until then, good luck, you're gonna need it.
