Eh, it's not very good. The main reason is its movepool. Unlike its brethren, it doesn't have many options for its high Attack, instead learning all the elemental punches... which use its terrible Special Attack. Add in how it has lower Attack and Speed to boost its Defense to slightly above mediocre levels means it just isn't as effective as Hitmonlee. Sure, it can be a little bit defensive and use Counter and even Curse more effectively, but its lack of strong Fighting STAB really hurts it, as the only Fighting move it learns through level up is Mach Punch. You can at least get Hi Jump Kick through breeding, but good luck getting that. And then there's a few Normal moves to learn. That's about it. It's a weird Pokemon that will get better, but right now, the lack of a physical/special split hurts it greatly due to the theming they're going with that doesn't work at all. Oh well.
