Vulpix analysis
The grudge making nine tailed fox is an interesting collection of stats that make it a great sun setter in Gen 5 onward. But right now? It's merely good. With decent Special Attack and high Speed, it can be a fierce attacker and even take a few Water type attacks. However, you have to stick with Vulpix for a while to get Flamethrower before you evolve it, as well as Safeguard and Confuse Ray, cause all you get after stoning is... Fire Spin. But unless you breed for Faint Attack, Fire moves are the only special attacks you'll get. But since your Attack isn't too terrible, you can use some physical options to give you some variety. But that's about it really, it learns some tricky status moves, so it's a weird mishmash of a Pokemon and stats. So it's useful, but you gotta focus it, otherwise it'll be a bit meh.
