Did you pronounce the name right? Well, turns out your parents were pronouncing it right the whole time. Anyway, wanna know why Gen 2's meta was such a stall fest? Suicune is one of the reasons. Same for Gen 3, but for slightly different Calm Mind reasons. So, look at that bulk. It is absolutely ridiculous for a Water type and allows it to shrug off Electric and Grass moves coming your way. Add in how it can increase its stats with Curse and that it's practically unstoppable if all you have are physical attackers and you can see just how centralizing this Pokemon got. It's got decent Speed for a tank as well as a respectable Special Attack. Its weakest stat is Attack, but Curse fixes that right up. Add in Rest, Toxic and even Roar and everything will die way before you. It's pretty silly how much of the metagame boiled down to this. And some people dislike the power creep? Absolutely crazy man.

But aside from all that, what's it like to use in game? Well, it's a near base 600 Legendary. You can probably guess. Its moveset did get changed around in Crystal, so it no longer has Roar, for obvious reasons. That'll come up later in the LP, you'll see. They also shifted Bubblebeam down so it learns Aurora Beam one level after you catch it. Though aside from Water and Ice moves, it doesn't really learn anything all that interesting special wise, aside from Mirror Coat. Combine a Curse set with physical moves for something that's not all that great, but it's still an option! It's a Legendary, so it can do a lot and it'll do it really well, since they gave it the tools its needed.
