Rejoice, for Dragon types can now get STAB! Unfortunately, the main Dragon line is focused on physical attacks. This is weird compared to most Pokemon in that it learns many more special moves then it does physical. Sure, Dragon STAB does close the gap somewhat, but you will have to go special for the most variety. Otherwise, you're waiting until level 29 for Slam and your best move will be Twister for a good long while. As far as special moves go, you can practically learn all of them, from Surf to Blizzard to Thunder to Fire Blast. Pick whatever you need and then round it out with a good Dragon move, which will more or less be Dragonbreath since you won't be getting Outrage for a while. Dragon moves don't really do a huge amount for coverage, but it's a fine option to at least hit something that's not Steel. If you wanted to go physical, then you have Normal moves and... Iron Tail. That's it. So it's best to stay special. Try and avoid physical moves coming your way, as you are physically frail and even with all the type coverage, your Special Attack isn't too amazing, so don't expect too much in the way of OHKOs. It gets a lot better, but right now, it's a bit of a mishmash.
