Kant was a German Philosopher, and this quote sums up his philosophical formula of humanity. It boils down to not using people (yourself or others) simply to achieve and end goal, but that treatment of humanity should be part of your choices too.

So it doesn't start out well for us it seems...

On a blimp, in a cage, stuck next to a rat wearing armour. I'm sure it's not OH&S approved to fly a blimp in a meteor storm.

Let's see if Mr Fuzzyface knows what's going on

It seems he was kidnapped when the meteor storm started, and get taken to a castle where nobody returns from. And the castle was built by rat people.

We descend into the castle

Some time later, a guard comes to us in our cell

Look at that armour. It just doesn't stop.

So the level 20 Dark Knight is going to torture us.

Apparently this is an inquisition?

Hey mate, maybe don't lecture people on being evil while a) threatening to torture people and b) wearing obviously evil armour.

Allrighty, let's adventure game!

Let's have a look where that bird is shall we?

My adventure game sense is tingling

Wait, I didn't have to MacGuiver something to get the birds attention? Anyway, we now have a Rusty Plate, and an inventory icon (bottom right)

Now let's check out that plaque...

We now have an obvious clue for later

That glowing skull is sure making my adventure game sense tingle

Seems the interesting part fell down the drain though

And it's out of reach, because of course it is.

It seems this "puzzle" doesn't just involve clicking on the thing.

Hey, that arm looks kind of long!

Take note of the detail on that skeleton. This was clearly not a human, and had spikes coming out of their ribs, and sideways ridges on their cheeks. Also earbones?

Useful indeed.

Nice shiny crystal eye. We haven't seen anything this would be useful for yet so let's keep it for now.

There is a little plaque on the door, so let's check that out.

Screws, if only we had a small metal object to...

Oh, ok. Yeah, this game is super easy.

OK, things get complicated here, the blue gears fit on blue spokes, and red gears fit on red spokes. Stop me if I'm going too fast.

I'm not sure what lock mechanism has seven constantly moving gears in it, but it appears we can get out of our cell

Before we do though, there is a shiny thing over there.

Shard of mirror, maybe we'll find a use for it later, perhaps in literally the next screen?

Fuck me. Also, mirror stand!

The statue appears to be missing a heart.

Anyway, let's see what the statue worshipers are about

So to get through, we need eyes (of which we have one), a heart, and some light.

Wings act like they move, but not quite yet. We'll have to come back later. Also, small mirror piece bottom right.

Let's keep going and see what's to the right.

Couple of glowing bits, most obviously those planks in the background.

GEE I WONDER WHERE THIS GOES.

Did they though? While we are picking up obvious puzzle answers, there is another shard there

Now this room is obviously linked to our clue from the prison cell before, so let's remind ourselves.

Clicking the cages makes them go down and displace the water. The one marked with the "X" is the first one, and then you have to guess the right order for the other three. Getting one wrong resets the puzzle, but there aren't really that many combinations in total anyway.

I just noticed a shard.

The well is full, and there is something floating there.

Two glowing crystal eyes now, and three more pieces of mirror and a stone heart later, let's see if we can get any further on this metal album cover.

That was easy.

So was that.

Look at that detail. Holy shit. Anyway, let's give them their eyes back. So we now have heart, eyes, but no light.

There are a bunch of candles at the bottom, so let's light them up.

You can now tinker with the mirrors and wings to redirect the beams of light.

If you guess correctly, you get a prize.

Congratulation, for correctly guessing a pentagram, you get this picture.

Statue has gone, now time to go through the door.

Except we aren't done, we need to rearrange this so the pieces fit

One is missing, so it's a good thing that bird randomly had the part of the lock in it's beak outside our cell while hiding from a meteor storm! This puzzle is really easy, you just make it so the opposite sides match.

Now we are free to leave this Part of the castle.
