zelda game: links power

Short but...vaguely sweet platformer.

Basically, you collect triangles and then click the above button to finish. There's no real meat to the game.

Yellow number is the number of triangles you have (you spawn over 1 to start with) and red number is "lives," though that's kinda misleading.

Since it's a flash game, the controls are floaty as fuck. At least there's some precision to be had.

The only enemies are these zombies with huge noses. If you hit one, it's game over. You literally have to reload the game completely to respawn, because the guy couldn't bother to program an option to return you to the start screen.

The way to kill enemies is to hold down Shift to radiate pure triforce power. It will kill enemies dead.

This is the rest of the left side. Kill the guy, avoid the spikes, and collect the triangles.

Now let's move right.

Two dudes to kill and more triangles to collect.

We'll collect the triangle right above the spikes later. We'll take that bow now, though, as it gives us another attack.

Mainly, the slowest projectile you've ever seen. Still a one-hit kill, but you can only shoot one at a time.

Also, this is the other end of the level, so we didn't even need it other than to not risk bad timing killing me here.

This last triangle is positioned so that you have to land on the spikes to get it. Fortunately, landing on spikes will take away one of your lives, making it the only thing that doesn't ignore lives outright.

Having gotten all the triangles, I click the button to end the game. Those things below the scores are smiley faces, by the way.

Anyway, having collected all 45 triangles, my score is perfect. Of course, I only needed 40 to be perfect, but it's that extra effort that prevents me from being a looser or amature player.

And that's the game!
