USS Enterprise 1701-D: A Cadet's Adventure - Part One

This is an adventure game based off Star Trek: The Next Generation. I've only recently actually gotten into Star Trek in general, though you don't really need to be into it to realize that this game is completely canon.

Anyway, this is an adventure game where we play as a fresh-faced cadet ready to take on the universe.

This game comes down to choosing certain responses. There's multiple endings and branching paths, as well as a couple Game Overs.

Since we're new to the ship, it'd be a wise idea to respond to the First Officer with Loud and clear, bitch.

Well, we are new, so maybe we should apolo-BRING IT ON, YOU DIRTY DOG YOU!

Nope.

Understood Commander Riker, sir!

Thanks, but I've got other plans.

All it does is add one extra dialogue box. Both choices give the same response.

Again, all three do the same thing.

She doesn't look human. Perhaps Klingon?

Worf? What about you and I?

Responding "I am not interested" will take us to the next scene with no fuss.

So of course, That's what I'm talkin' bout!

I'm gonna fuck you up. After all, what's the worst a Klingon can do to me?

Oh.

Maybe we should say It's cool. Ain't no harm.

The first two will get us killed, of course. The latter lets us move on to the next scene.

Let's rewind. The other two options will lead to the same thing.

No, I ain't into threesomes. Trying to do stuff without Worf can lead to unpleasantness.

From there, we either deal with Worf or go to the next scene. But what if we want to do stuff, Maybe, but without Worf.

And of course it goes from there.

We'll come back to this stuff later, as this is its own separate thing. So for now, No thank you!

For now, let's say I was ordered to Sickbay.

Next up, we have...this. Both options lead to the same thing.

Well, I certainly Hope the patients weren't watching.

Sure, you can take the month's supply and get drugs, but No, I'm telling him everything.

And this is where the game splits into different scenarios. For this run, we'll do Medical Drugs.

Same prompt if we took the earlier offer. And your choice doesn't matter.

Next up, we meet Troi. None of the choices here actually matter, and in fact, they never do when talking with Troi. Go figure.

Anyway, all this scene does is set up a date with Troi later on.

Hey, You got yourself a deal!

Actually trading with that guy screws us up. The latter choice sends us to the brig, so we might as well Blame Geordi.

Left is brig, right is death.

The proper choice, of course, is not to trade.

Choice doesn't matter.

Sure, why not?

Nope! Best to say we have nothing.

Anyway, here we are at the final stage. Once again, most of your options here don't matter.

So punching Riker gets us killed. Hitting Deanna gets us brigged. So our only option is to throw drugs at Riker.

And that's the first path!

Next time, we'll show off the Holodeck and the phaser path!
