Mini-Update 4 -
More Extras & Aniki

--------------------------

Scenario 6

There only extra here is the scene where Vargas comes in and wants to get you in revenge for Zorum. I am not backtracking two missions just to get it... maybe in another playthrough for a Chaos character?

Scenario ?1

When teammates die...

Clearly, everyone was upset over losing the Crocodile Knight class for Lester.

When you visit the rightmost statue on the map...

Feel free to correct me, since my Japanese is nightmarish bad, but I believe this was God, Seamen, Seacat... the answer should be obvious... you are a muscle-y man ergo you are:

Oops! Well, clearly since Fighter is a muscle-y man, you must be a:

This is a friggin' huge boost in power! Too bad I didn't get it on my main run. Oh well, next time!
Here's the other statue...

When we lose to Varan & the Cho Aniki forces...

I lost the screenshots but mostly remember what occurs - though I may have gotten the dialogue wrong, I think I remembered the SPIRIT and ESSENCE of MUSCLES contained within. So, when you kill Sampson...

Adon, Adon!

And after you finish off Varan...

Nooo! Muscles were to rule the world...

Stepping on the square Varan occupied nets you this sweet item...

There appears to be a heavy weight resting on the floor.
Perhaps this is the secret to Varan's power. Will you pick it up?

Yes No

Obtained Iron Dumbbell.

Same victory dialogue plays afterwards though... so otherwise, that is ?1 done! But first, what does the Iron Dumbbell do? Equip it to a summoner in the weapon slot (like Hein or Liana, it gives AT+1, MV-1) and I'll demonstrate:

The summoned Aniki has an AT of 40 and a DF of 30! Enough to roll over pretty much everything in the game and even more so with A/D boosts. Though they do cost 25MP to summon, which at this point is just about all Hein's MP and Liana just can't reach that yet.

Scenario 7

Let me tell you... getting those civilians killed can be really tough work given how dumb the enemy AI is at times... here's my example:

This was on Turn 10! They had had at least 5 turns at that point to kill them all and the AI would just stand there stock still. It wasn't until Leon showed up and shook up their lines that they were able to finish the job... 10 TURNS LATER! Bloody Sonya!

Anyway, extra scenes... When the first Sister and her troupe die...

When Leon & Laird show up they use the same lines until Sonya butts in...

If you collaborate with the Empire, then don't do anything to disgrace its name!

Shut up! Stop commanding me!

Troublesome girl...

General Leon, this is in our favour. Let's avenge our last conflict by helping the girl of the demon tribe!

Laird... Have you forgotten the Code of Chivalry? Why would we attack those who protect innocent villagers?
In the name of the Blue Dragon Knights, I can't drag innocent people into our war.

But, General Leon, we of the Empire are allied with the demon tribe.
It's not a good idea to fight against them.

I don't care! I'll take all responsibility!
Fighter, correct? Let me lend you a hand.

The Imperials want to help us? What are they up to?

I'm not sure, but that Leon appears to be an honourable man. We can trust him.

I agree. The Blue Dragon Knights are formed from the best soldiers in the Empire.
They're not just strong, but truly honourable as well.

Hmmm... is that so...

When Leon & Laird get their first allied turn...

Let's go, Laird! We must defeat all the undead monsters.

Please, wait! You were wounded in your recent battle with monsters. Are you well enough to fight?

The wound I received while fighting that dragon...

Such a great wound would kill an ordinary man! Please don't push yourself by fighting too much.
It would be devastating to the Blue Dragon Knights if you died here...

Hah hah... sorry. You need not worry. We're just soldiers, here for the villagers' protection.
Now is the time to think of their lives rather than our own!

I'm right behind you, Leon! Let's drive away those monsters!

Bet you're all wishing we buddied up with Leon now... dude took a dragon head-on and lived with being torn up by tooth and claw. Badass.

When Leon attacks an enemy unit...

Bull... shit. You and Laird just rip through all the enemies on the map - in fact, for a short while I thought I would win without doing a thing since Leon blocked the doorway to the last civvie and was about to ragequit... thank goodness he chased some werewolf tail and she got creamed... for the sake of the LP, of course.

And then... we don't lose or get a game over or any comment that all the villagers had perished... Here's the objective screen again...

So... yeah... umm, my guess is that when Leon & co. appeared they counted as Allied units much like the villagers and so, they too needed to die to fulfill the 'villagers perished' or rather 'Allied NPCs perished' condition. But hey, your guess is as good as mine!

Lastly, when we move Rohga into Sonya's command range or vice-versa...

Who's calling my name?

Have you forgotten what I look like?

My brother... My brother, Rohga!?

Sonya, it's you after all!? It's important you stop attacking the villagers right now!

Why? Why should I stop? Brother, you too, are on the humans' side...

I've been searching for you for a long time. I...

I knew it! Brother, you're too human!

Sonya!

I want all humans to be destroyed! I'll never, ever forgive your kind!

Sonya! Wait, Sonya!

And that's all for Scenario 7. Let's leave this extra update on a positive note:

Next time, Scenario 8 on the Light path.
