Recent News Tidbit: Nintendo's currently experimenting with cross-buy between the 3DS and Wii U, and Squid's Odyssey is the first title to take advantage of this feature. However, the deal's only available in Europe, and it only works if you purchase the 3DS version first. Here's the source.

The Refurbished Wii U - $200
This is just about the cheapest way to get yourself a Wii U that's reliable and comes with a warranty (but it's only in North America, unfortunately). Nintendo's refurbished systems are good-as-new, and it comes with Nintendoland. While it lacks the charging dock and Gamepad stand that comes with most bundles, the dock can be purchased cheap elsewhere. Even though the site description says that you cannot get Club Nintendo coins from registering your Wii U, it's been confirmed that you most certainly can. You may have to wait a little extra than usual for this one, though, as the Wii U has become significantly more sought-after following Nintendo's E3 presentation. Also keep in mind that anything bought from Nintendo's site (even in Europe) has free shipping.

Refurbished Wii Remote Plus w/ Nunchuck - $20
This'll save you a heck a lot of money on Wii Remotes. Has the quality of Nintendo-refurbished products, comes with the full Motion Plus functionality and a Nunchuck and, of course, free shipping. You can't go wrong with this one.

If you're interested in grabbing more than one Pro Controller, you can save a bit of cash by buying them from Play Asia for $30 apiece. The shipping & handling is high, but the discount will make up for it if you purchase two or more controllers.

Rayman Legends is currently on sale for $20.00 - 50% off.
ZombiU is currently on sale for $22.49 - 25% off.
