In the intro you get the faction logos coming through on different channels, leading to this.

We get introduced to Sheppard, the GDI's golden boy and he throws us in the shit straight away.

Commander Carter can sneak you and some backup forces on-shore right here. You may get some artillery support from his gunboats but this is mostly grunt work.
Your mission is simple; Knock out all fortifications, eliminate all NOD troops, and establish a beachhead by building your base.

Hovercrafts incoming!
These little 10-20 second videos come before/after missions and are sorta neat.


We start off with our Mobile Construction Vehicle (hereafter MCV) and a couple of minigunners. There's also a gunboat that goes back and forth, we can choose what it shoots at but it's really just there to shit on the turrets.


If we try to scroll sideways... we get graphics bugs yay!


Some more troops arrive.


And we'll just 'deploy' the MCV where it is, turning into our construction yard. Generates a little bit of power, enough to build a power plant. I'll get into base power later.


More troops arrive, let's kill that enemy infantry at the bottom and finish off the turret.


Our first Humvee arrives. They have crazy range, like 4-5 squares.


We basically just have to sweep the top right of the map for enemy troops.


Put down the power plant and build a barracks.





Barracks is ready, this is the placement grid. White means it's place-able. Squares go red when there's something in the way or entirely red if it's not adjacent to an existing building.


Now we can build minigunners, but we won't need to, the hovercrafts dump more than enough troops on the shore.


The enemy buggy can go north off the map, if you're too close it'll just sit off-screen trading fire with your humvees.

And the score screen. Leadership in this game is some combination of damage taken and losses, efficiency is something about how you use your money or time taken, I've never really cared that much about it.
