Last time I'd just raised our Wands to 4 making us even more powerful in magical and mental combat!

Leaving the room I find some zombies, these are a wandering enemy type for the Undead flavoured mission. This is not great for us as you'll see.

We're not scared by these WALKING DEAD...

Here is our problem, Zombie encounters are entirely physical. I've neglected the physical stats and so even running away is difficult. Best to try fight them.

Round 1 to the zombies.

Round 2 to the zombies, and even more HP loss.

Third time is not the charm at all!

Fuck this lets cheese it.

Luckily despite being less agile than some zombies we don't lose any HP, we are really running low now.

Success!

We run out of sight and into the main hall way. Here we head up the main staircase to the first floor, the first floor is pretty similar to the ground floor and should really be that much different in terms of difficulty of encounters. (I've not noticed any appreciable difference.)

We find the trophy room and the wall of heads again and narrowly avoid losing sanity from the horror check.

They get magicked and we gain XP and Sanity, I really wish there was some easy physical challenge so we could get some health for a reward.

We find the stairs to the attic but I don't really want to go up there now so we head off down the corridor.

A quick locked door picked and we find the master bedroom!

A succubus in the master bedroom

We have seen worse things than sexy demons.

There is no talk option so we settle instead for brutally murdering this sad demon as running away is for cowards, we gained no reward from this.

A very nice en suite is attached to the bedroom.

Not such a nice en suite

More tough physical challenges with the only real doable option being to try and soften the fall.

We fail but only having to reveal one card means we are lucky this time.

Our luck doesn't hold as we fall straight onto a crossbow trap.

HAHA we fail but don't take any damage or reveal any of the worse cards you can get from failing physical challenges. Maybe our luck is actually pretty good? (If you ignore our paltry 3 health.)

Next time: We explore downstairs again after being dropped neatly back to just near the zombie encounter.
