In Tesla Reich, Axel Almer receives a report that they've received the startup code for Lykeios. He tells his men (the same unidentified soldiers who attacked Raul and Fiona) to boot it up at once; the Federation is sniffing around, and they'd best be prepared once Vindel arrives. It looks like the Wolves have crushed their main force, in Europe. Axel thinks he should have stayed; if he'd been there, perhaps he could have defeated Beowulf himself...
W16: "Pardon me, Captain Axel."
Axel: "...W16. What's wrong?"
W16: "Numbers 0 through 10 are ready."
Axel: "The advance party... all the early types, up to W10."
Axel: "...Hm? What's this? W00 is being sent too?"
W16: "Yes. Mistress Lemon has ordered it."
Axel: “Really... I don’t know what she's thinking; W00 isn’t a combat type. What do you think about the higher numbers, 11 and later?”
W16: “I carry out Mistress Lemon’s commands. There was no need to inquire further.”
Axel: “Hmph... I guess not. A doll’s a doll. Forget I asked.”
W16: “As you wish. Will you be jumping at once, Captain Axel?”
Axel: “No, not yet. Lemon wants the Neverland to be the advance party.”
W16: .....
Axel: (Using one of our Trilobites to carry your oldest models... you’re too overprotective, Lemon. Parental love, I guess you’d call it?)
If Lemon seems like a weird name, it's been (mis?)romanized as "Raymond," so keep that in mind for the pronunciation.
The advance team will jump as soon as Lemon arrives, so preparations should already be underway. In the meantime, there’s another concern: the Edge Corps failed to capture the Excellence. Apart from the Federation’s interference, the Excellence itself is reported to have combat capabilities - directly contradicting their earlier information. Hearing this, Axel decides that he’ll go out to deal with it himself. They can’t afford to lose more machines yet, so an elite should be the one to go - and he’ll be taking the Soulgain to do it.
(The Excellence... that engine aside, I’m more interested in the detachable frame system. If we adapt it to the Raz or the Ash Savior, our versatility will go through the roof. It’s worth pursuing. He hasn’t left us much time...)
