???: (That mech! The shape and color are different, but... it's definitely the one. Can I complete Phase 1 of the mission already?)
Excellen: "Wow! Check out that machine! Do you think she's friends with Ms. Valsione?"
Bullet: "It's like an angel..."
Excellen: "Don't get lovestruck already, Bullet. I don't think the two of you will work out."

Kyosuke: "Attention, unidentified mech. This is ATX Team leader Lt. Kyosuke Nanbu."

Meanwhile, Lee has had a check done on the machine's IFF codes; it's registered as the Angelg, a test prototype for Isurugi Heavy Industries. Lee has his doubts, given that it looks nothing like a Lion, but apparently the Federation military has already been notified of the Angelg's test plan. According to the plan, the test pilot is Lamia Loveless, meaning that her story checks out. Lee orders a further confirmation with Isurugi in any case.
Lee: "Assault 1, that mech is an Isurugi prototype. Provide cover and mop up the DC remnants."
Kyosuke: (Prototype? This is an odd choice of test site. And right after that business with the Valsion... I have a hard time believing Isurugi is on the level.)
Lee: "What's wrong, Assault 1? Acknowledge the order."
Kyosuke: "Mop up the DC remnants, protect the Isurugi prototype."
Lee: (The data could have been falsified. Isurugi has been pushing its authority lately. If I could get some leverage against them...)
Kyosuke: "Excellen, Bullet, you heard the story. Time to earn our pay."
Excellen: "Roger dodger! Off we go, to rescue the mysterious beauty!"
Bullet: "Lieutenant... we don't know what she looks like."
Excellen: "Well, come on. Would you expect some bodybuilder type to be flying that thing?"
Bullet: "I... guess not."
Kyosuke: "Just keep her safe. Let's go!"
