Ravenwolf attacks Miluda, Counter triggers, and Ravenwolf blocks it. 
And then she died.
Well, we did offer her the chance to surrender, but she refused. We are Knights, you know. 
Delita throws a rock at Boco, who dodges, then retaliates. Boco doesn't miss.

Wiegraf wrecks us.
New gear became available after the battle with Miluda, but I couldn't afford to upgrade everyone, so I decided to push on. That... didn't work so well.
Weezy wrecks us again. He uses Statis Sword on Kheldarn, and inflicts Stop. Then the random Knight has the gall to break Kheldarn's Helmet.
I decide to head to Igros to uprade Kheldarn, Ravenwolf, and Kodo Filia, since I can afford 3 upgrades. On the way back, I get in a random battle at Lenalia, and that gives me enough to upgrade one more Knight, so I turn around, and head back to Igros. Where I get in a random battle at Mandalia. I'm able to uprade gear on everyone, now. I also get into one more random battle on the way to fight Weezergraf again. At least I can dominate those. 
He's already killed Kheldarn, who got his helmet broken again.
1 turn left on Kheldarn's counter, and Kodo Filia brings Weepinbellgrape down to single digit HP, which is enough to trigger his defeat. As for Kheldarn? "I'm fine! It was only a flesh wound!"
I stick Kheldarn here. It doesn't matter where I stick him, because cutscene magic moves him.

Great. Algus turned my best friend against me.
Because Algus has Auto-Potion, I wasn't able to defeat him in 2 rounds or less.
As you can see, I took a -10 Brave hit because of it.
Normally, I'd have a pithy reply, but it was kind of luck on my part, being a little low in level, and having a nekked Deltia so I could sell his gear. Can I sell his gear? I don't remember if it carries over...
Except it's not exactly safe where you are, Kheldarn...
Still, safer than where Delita was standing.
And that ends Chapter 1.
