Sean: "Our survey is complete. It seems unlikely that the enemy will trouble us again... for now, at any rate."
Lefina: "....."
Sean: "But for the DC remnants to show themselves here... I think we can expect more fighting in the future."
Lefina: "...Yes."
Sean: "We'd best stop for a moment and see to our own wounds before we continue. We can't use the gravity cannon, after all."
Lefina: "I know."

Sean: "Is something wrong?"
Lefina: "Um... w-well... may I go change now?"
Sean: "There's no need to do it on our account---"

Eun: "XO."
Sean: "Ahem. Yes, of course. Rest assured, I will see to things on the bridge."
Lefina: "...Thank you."

Eun: "....."

Eun: "...Um, XO, could---"
Sean: "Go on. You'd just sneak off to her cabin soon enough anyway."
Eun: "Thank you. I'll be back soon."

Lefina: "Dandy-lion Mk. II, I've really done it this time..."

Lefina: "A captain's first duty is to bear the confidence of their crew... and I completely blew it..."

Eun knocks at the door.
Lefina: "Yes?"
Eun: "Eun Hyojin. May I enter, Captain?"
Lefina: "J-Just let me get dressed!"
Eun: "I have something to say."

Lefina: "I know. I'm making a mockery of the Captain's chair in front of the crew, aren't I?"
Eun: "....."
Lefina: "I have a responsibility to uphold, but I still make mistakes like this... pitiful, isn't it? Everybody must be wondering why they should trust me---"

Eun: "I don't think anyone's thinking that."
Lefina: "Eun..."
Eun: "It was an emergency, so it couldn't be helped. And you took command of the situation, just the same."
Lefina: "....."

Eun: "Everyone puts their faith in you, Captain. It won't be shaken by one little thing like this."
Lefina: "But it's not just the one, is it?"
Eun: "You'll still have my faith, Captain. Ever since I met you at Icarus, you've worked harder than anyone I've known."
Lefina: "....."

Eun: "Well... please return to the bridge quickly."
Lefina: "I will... thank you, Eun."
Eun: "It was nothing..."
Lefina: "I'll just get changed, then..."

Eun: "By the way, Captain... isn't that the same stuffed animal you had at the Academy?"
Lefina: "Huh? Is... is that strange?"
Eun: "No... I think it suits you."

In the hangar, Leona is berating Tasuku over his recklessness; it's like he doesn't understand what the Giganscudo means at all! He tries to say that he knows it's the "giant shield," but that's not the meaning she was referring to. Rather, she's talking about its status as an object of hatred for the colonies, as the trigger for the Hope Incident. He protests that the Gigan fought to protect the colonies during the L5 campaign, but Leona responds that that just makes him even more reckless, risking having it destroyed by some DCs in the middle of nowhere.

Tasuku: "Look, I know it was reckless... but I didn't have a choice!"
Leona: "Oh, really?"
Tasuku: "Yeah. I had to protect you, didn't I?"
Leona: ".....!"
Tasuku: "I mean, if it can't protect the woman I love, it's got no business being called the strongest shield, right?"
Leona: "....."

Tasuku: "So I said, 'Dr. Radom, we've got to upgrade the Gigan! To protect the Earth and the Colonies... and especially Leona.'"
Leona: "...You should've left the last part out!"
Tasuku: (But it's the truth...)

Leona: "But, still..."
Tasuku: "Huh?"
Leona: "You did protect me back there..., so... th... thank you."

Tasuku: "Then, gimme a thank-you kiss!"
Leona: "You think I'd do that here!? You idiot!"

Tasuku: "Aww, I thought that was the perfect atmosphere, too... man, my luck's just run out..."

Aboard the battleship Garibaldi...

Murata earns a sharp reprimand for his actions during the mission; Lorenzo reminds him that his contract is to help them find the Death's Head, not to go off seeking his own pleasure.

It's actually "Skull Head." I'm exercising creative license.

Supposedly the Death's Head is in the L2 sector, though Lorenzo only heard about it secondhand from Bian Zoldark: a spaceborne factory constructed in secret by the EOT Council. During the DC war the Divine Crusaders and the colonial forces both tried to locate and occupy the installation, but they were unable even to find it.

Murata scoffs at this, suggesting that the whole thing was a fabrication by the Council to distract its enemies. However, Lorenzo is adamant; an acquaintance of his at Isurugi worked on the Death's Head's construction, although it was quickly moved elsewhere once completed. Murata is skeptical, but Rose guarantees Lorenzo that the information is accurate.

Murata: "Hmph. Why must we rely on such doubtful sources?"
Lorenzo: "Elpis and the Moon Cradle belong to the Federation now. We need a new base of operations - and to augment our production capacity."
Murata: "What, then? Is the Garibaldi to wander through space until it is found?"
Lorenzo: "I told you why we wouldn't go to the Earth Cradle. As Colonel Van's campaign unfolds, the eye of the Federation will be drawn to him. We'll have all the time we need to search for the Death's Head."
Murata: "....."

Lorenzo: "Do you object?"
Murata: "No. But a spark may yet ignite here, in space. The recent disappearances - those were not the Divine Crusaders' doing?"
Lorenzo: "...No."
Murata: "Hmph. It seems I won't be bored after all."
