Katina barks an order, and Tasuku takes care of restraining the last Garoika. Lefina is ready to continue with the mission...
...but more enemies appear.
Russell: "The mass-produced Mk. II units... and Rangzen fighters?"
Katina: "You think we found the MIA pilots?"
Russell: "N-No! Look over there, they have Urchins with them!"
Katina: "What the hell!?"
Russell: "The enemies... could they be Aerogaters!?"
Katina: "What!?"
Russell: "Back then, they used our machines against us."
Tasuku: "Hmm... yeah, but... if that were true, you'd think something would've happened to the garrison at the White Star."
Russell: "I... I guess..."
Leona: "Are they trying to confuse us? I suppose there's a chance..."
Russel: "Mm?"
Katina: "A chance of what?"
Leona: "Whether this is the same as before, or something different. I guess it's about a fifty-fifty chance."
Tasuku: "I see where you're going. I bet they're different."
Leona: "That's no good. We can't have a bet if we both agree."
Katina: "Hey! Stop whispering! Tell me what's going on!"
Tasuku: "OK, so I'll bet on them being the same. How about... the loser has to take the winner on a date?"
Leona: "I refuse. I suppose the bet's off, then."
Tasuku: "Aw, man..."
Russell: "They're not listening to us, are they?"
Katina: "Shape up! Or else I'll beat you into shape later, Tasuku!"
Tasuku: "Wh... why are you singling me out!?"
Eun has finished scanning the new enemies, and they're definitely the missing Federation units - but they've shut off their comms equipment and can't be raised. After a moment's pause, Lefina gives the order to engage - but so long as we're capturing units, we'd best try to capture one of these as well.
Sean: "Very well. Octo Squadron, I'm sorry to impose, but..."
Katina: "What! You want us to go up against the latest-generation PT? And capture one?"
Sean: "That's correct."
Katina: "Sounds fun!"
Sean: (I thought you'd say that.)
Katina relays the order, same as before, and battle resumes.
