Even more rolling through, it's a fairly simple Ground type that can lay in some hurt with it's relatively decent stats. It can slightly take a hit, but high HP stats doesn't do much with the lower defensive stats. As a Ground type, it has the moves it needs (with TMs of course), but it doesn't have much in the way of a level up movepool, learning no STAB moves throughout, but for an early game choice then it could be a lot worse, really, since it'll be a fine for the most part, if not great against what's coming up. But overall, a fine choice.
