In the wake of Arado's encounter with Seolla, Radha asks Latooni for any information she can give about the School's mind-control techniques. Latooni beheld them firsthand, many times. In extreme cases, the subject's entire personality was rewritten, making them like a completely different person.

She suspects it may even have been done to her - but her memories of Arado, and Seolla, and Ouka, and everyone else she's met have become a replacement for what's lost. Ryusei asks if that means Seolla's memories could be returned, and Latooni sadly says that she doesn't know.

Arado enters, telling her not to worry. He's not giving up yet - not when he still has a promise to keep. Of course, it doesn't look good from what he saw. Seolla didn't remember him at all, although she was still just as stubborn and hotheaded as he remembered.

Radha, however, takes that as an encouraging sign that we're dealing with suggestion rather than full-on brainwashing. Rather than rewrite the contents of Seolla's mind, the School may have simply added another layer on top of them, somewhat like hypnosis. Bullet and Ryusei sees what she's driving at - they've seen the same thing before with Kusuha and the T-LINK System. And if they freed someone from it before, surely it can be done again. Ryusei promises Arado and Latooni that he'll help them both when the time comes.

In the briefing room, Katina, Viletta, and Excellen talk about the mech they saw at the end of the battle. Viletta mentions the similarity to the Moustache Man. When she realizes the others don't know what it is due to it being a ridiculous name, she fills them in on the mech's sudden appearance during Operation SRW. But the Moustache Man hasn't been seen during the intervening period. Excellen comments that between this and the Einst, there are still too many mysteries to solve. Kyosuke responds that unsolved mysteries are just one of their problems. One thing is clear, though; the enemies who attacked them are not affiliated with the Neue DCs.

Rai: (When that super robot appeared, Lamia started acting strangely. Could it be...?)

Tetsuya: "Captain, I apologize for my outburst earlier. Lieutenant Colonel Lee was right, I'm not qualified to be a commander."
Daitetsu: "Discord between commanders doesn't just harm the morale of the troops; it can change the course of the entire war. Don't forget that."
Tetsuya: "Y-yes, sir."
Daitetsu: "Let's discuss something else."

Daitetsu: "When this crisis is settled, you'll be transferring off of the Hagane."
Tetsuya: "S-Sir!? But why---"

Daitetsu: "This hinges on our recovery of the moon, but I'd like you to move to Space Noah 4... to serve as its new captain."
Tetsuya: "C... Captain? Of my own vessel!?"
Daitetsu: "You have ample experience under me during the DC War and L5 Campaign, and you're familiar with a Space Noah class ship."
Tetsuya: "B-But, still..."
Daitetsu: "This is no time to be modest. Your own classmate Lee is captain of the Shirogane."
Tetsuya: "....."

Daitetsu: "Is something wrong?"
Tetsuya: "N-no, sir. But... I have a lot of attachment to the Hagane. I think there's a lot for me still to learn under you, Captain."
Daitetsu: "Every chick has to leave the nest and fly sooner or later. You're no exception."
Tetsuya: "....."
Daitetsu: "Have confidence, Captain. Remember that well."
Tetsuya: "...Yes, sir."

(The covert transmitter seems to be working... good, it's receiving. I'll have no trouble receiving orders. Captain Axel and Master Vindel will have no reason to call me a doll again.)

(But, it's true, isn't it? My language system, my nervous system, and now my emotion center... it's strange to hear myself called the masterpiece of the W-Series. Mistress Lemon... I'm simply defective...)
