This illuminating gnat is one of those Bug/Poison types that have fuck all for moves and fuck all for stats. But this one has a fairly passable Attack stat, so once it gets some STAB Leech Life going then you're all set. Or maybe just get some Normal TMs and wait for Sludge Bomb. You'll also get some nice Psychic moves to really compliment that terrible Special Attack and then the powder status moves because fuck you. Yeah, this one's a bit of a mixed bag, so just stick to what it's good at, ignore most of what the game throws at you and you should be pretty good. Mostly. Until you get to Gen 4 just act like every Pokemon learns fuck all for moves and most types are garbage and be pleasantly surprised when that's not the case.
