Our favorite smiling blob is back and it's literally the same as ever. It relies on the move Transform as its gimmick, being the only move it can ever learn, to become its opponent. So, the only stat that actually matters is its HP, as well as the defenses if it gets attacked before it can Transform, which is pretty often due to its low Speed. However, Ditto is not completely useless, due to its new ability to breed with any Pokemon that's not in the No Eggs group, being in its own group, the Ditto group. This makes it pretty good for breeding, but it's not the perfect Pokemon for that use. Still, you could use it in battle, but now, thankfully, that's not what its calling is.
