Bullet: "Argh! Kusuha, how long until the Hiryu gets here!?"
Kusuha: "....."
Bullet: "Kusuha!?"
Kusuha: "I thought so... it is calling us!"
Bullet: "Calling? You mean... the Mechanoid?"
Kusuha: "I don't know! But..."
Alfimi: (The reaction is growing... if things are not finished before it takes a human mind... it could be troublesome.)
Kusuha shouts a warning, but Alfimi closes to melee range before they can react.
Alfimi: "Silence the mind... and the body will become docile."
Alfimi attacks, but Bullet dodges.
Then he returns in kind.
Alfimi: "Well done... your reactions are good."
Bullet: "It's not over yet! Come on, let's go!"
Alfimi: "Foolish. Then I will make use... of your machine's receiver..."
Bullet: "Receiver? You mean the T-LINK---"
In the next moment the T-LINKs in both of the Grungust units overload, nearly overcoming Bullet and Kusuha and causing the mech to shut down. The twin receivers have resulted in double the amplification of Alfimi's thoughts, turning their mech's own capabilities against them.
Alfimi goes for another round...
Bullet tries in vain to move, but the G-Raptor's control system is fried. Archibald observes that it's all over now...
Bullet: "Eject the G-Bison, Kusuha! You can still get away!"
Kusuha: "No! I'm not leaving you!"
Bullet: "If we both stay here, we're done for! If you can get away, then---"
Kusuha: "I said no! Let me take the controls!"
Bullet: "S-stop! The G-Raptor won't..."
Ryoto and Rio move to assist, but Alfimi coldly says that it's too late and opens fire - not just at them, but at specific points around the ruins. Eri and Archibald realize at the same time that she's not just firing at random, she's digging...
Carla: "Th-the Mechanoid..."
Archibald: "At last..."
Yuuki: "It really did exist."
Carla: "But, why is it so beaten-up?"
Yuuki: "Was it damaged by the attack!?"
Archibald: "No, that's---"
Alfimi: "It seems the scars... received in battles of old... have not yet healed. But isn't that convenient...? We can replace what you lack..."
Archibald: "Yuuki! Carla! Don't let her reach it!"
Alfimi: "You are annoying..."
Alfimi: "They will be restored as our servants... and..."
Alfimi: "And... you will herald the end... of the land of beginnings."
Neither Bullet nor Kusuha is doing well under Alfimi's onslaught. But then...
???: "Dost thou seek salvation for the world of man?"
Kusuha: "A-a voice!?"
???: "I ask of thee... dost thou seek to save the world of man?"
Kusuha: "Y-you're the..."
???: "I am Ryu-Ko-Oh... guardian of the world of man since time immemorial."
Kusuha: "Ryu... Ko Oh? Are you the one who called to me?"
???: "Thy will to fight evil is mighty indeed... and so I respond."
Kusuha: "....."
???: "My awakening means that the gods of calamity are near. But my task is to cast out the heralds of the Hundred Evils, and safeguard the world of man."
Bullet: "Hundred Evils... you're talking about the Einst?"
???: "Thou art worthy to command us. If I am to awaken in full, two powerful souls are required."
Bullet: "...!"
Kusuha: "You're... talking about us!?"
???: "If thy desire is to protect the world of man... my vessel shall carry out thy will."
???: "I would hear thy answer. Dost thou seek salvation for the world of man?"
Kusuha: "I..."
Bullet: "We can't let this be the end!"
Kusuha: "If you're here to save our world..."
Bullet: "...Then we will help!"
???: "Then speak the words... Lord of the Absolute... Emperor of Fire... Cast out the evil... Dragon and Tiger, unite!"
Bullet: "Lord of the Absolute!"
Kusuha: "Emperor of Fire!"
Bullet: "Cast out the evil!"
Kusuha: "Dragon and Tiger, unite!"
Ryoto and Rio watch in awe as energy envelops the Type-3 and draws it into the Mechanoid.
Despite Alfimi's efforts, the guardian has been reborn.

???: "Tiger and dragon, unite!""
Bullet: "Tiger and dragon! Unite!"
The Mechanoid transforms before everyone's eyes...
Eri and Archibald are both awed to see the strength of the Mechanoid; by absorbing the Grungust into itself, the ancient machine has regained its full power. The RyuKoOh and KoRyuOh have been revived.
Alfimi belatedly realizes that she's not regenerating quickly enough, and brings in more Einst.
Alfimi: "I will retreat... but, servants of the Guardian..."
KoRyuOh: "....."
Alfimi: "You will not... stand in our path... this time..."
Archibald: "Yuuki. Carla. We need to go as well."
Carla: "What about that thing!?"
Archibald: "It's a pity, but better than if the Einst had taken it. Also, we have visitors."
Archibald: "The third time I've tasted defeat at your hands... I will not forget this."
Bullet: "!"
Yuuki: "Next time, Brooklyn."
Kyosuke confirms that the new mech is, in fact, the Mechanoid that was buried at the dig site, and Katina reacts about like you'd expect to learning that Bullet and Kusuha are riding in it. There's no time for talk, though - there are Einst to kill.
