Slowpoke analysis
Literally the king of slow with an absolutely awful Speed stat since Trick Room doesn't exist yet. But all of its other stats are pretty damn good, though the Attack stat is unnecessary, of course. With its typing, its able to take quite a few special hits, since it resists a fair few of them (aside from Grass and Dark and Electric and okay maybe it's not that impressive). It does at least get pretty nice coverage, with Surf, Psychic, Ice Beam and Flamethrower, meaning you'll be hitting a lot of things for a lot of damage. Of course a lot of that is late game, so what do you do until then? Well, you'll be relying on your Attack stat if you want something other than Confusion and Water Gun. Uh, at least it can learn Ice Punch? But even with good coverage, you're going last, so you'll be taking a lot more damage than you should. So good luck with that.
