This cute little mountain eater is obviously not meant to be used seriously until it's big and bad. But it will still help you along the way, since you need to have it gain 35-40 levels in order for it to be properly useful. It learns Rock Slide pretty early, which is more than what can be said for a LOT of other Rock types. And then having a Ground STAB is also useful, but since it won't be keeping it (spoilers!), it might not be worth the Earthquake TM, especially since it will eventually learn it naturally anyway. Aside from that though, the only physical move to really make use of is Return, since despite it learning Bite, it doesn't have the Special Attack to properly use it. The only other thing to note is learning Outrage through breeding, but again, it can't make too much use of it. Still better than nothing though, but you should just evolve this thing pretty quickly, cause it's still got a long way to go.
