The king still reigns, but it has a little bit of trouble now. No longer is it able to set up Amnesia and then sweep with no fear, there are a few things that give this legend a tough time. While nothing hits as hard as it, there are some new legendaries that can also hit crazy hard, so Mewtwo's defenses aren't looking that great. With its impressive Attack, other Mewtwo with Shadow Ball can actually be a big problem, while Ho-oh can take its special attacks all day long. Add in a Dark immunity and some Steel types resisting it and you might think Mewtwo is gonna have a rough time. Still, it has an excellent movepool featuring all kinds of surprises and the only Steel type worth mentioning, Steelix, still takes a ridiculous amount from its attacks. Sure, Houndoom is immune to Psychic, but not any of its still powerful coverage moves. No matter how many nerfs it gets, no matter what might come out, Mewtwo is still number one.
I mean technically it's number one hundred and fifty, but you know what I mean!
