We control a single dad who has just picked up stakes with his daughter, Amanda, and moved out to a quiet little neighborhood in Maple Bay. Dad's new digs just happen to be on a street with seven other dads... Romanceable dads. The options superficially follow common romance tropes, but we'll learn a lot more about each dad as we boldly venture forth in pursuit of love.
Dream Daddy was released on July 20th, 2017 on Mac OSX and Windows. It was published and developed by Game Grumps and written by Leighton Gray and Vernon Shaw. The story and design puts the LGBTQ community front and center and, despite being part of a niche market, hit Steam's top 10 sales chart soon after release, and is currently sitting at approximately 141,000 copies sold as of 8/2 according to SteamSpy.
This LP's daddy issues:
- This is a screenshot LP. There will be occasional music links and (potentially) a stream or two.
- Updates will be at least weekly, if not even more frequent.
- No spoilers. Not even tiny spoilers. Just don't! Don't talk about characters we haven't met, don't talk about events we haven't seen, don't be cute and hide spoilers in speculation. Don't be the bad dad!
- Voting! Sweet dads will there ever be voting.
- We're going to date all the dads... Eventually.
