Okita Souji
Saber
5*
Debuts in Fate/Koha Ace
Originates from 19th Century Japan

Cards: Quick/Quick/Arts/Buster/Buster

ATK: 12068
HP: 13325

Skills
1. Reduced Earth B: Increase own Quick Card Performance by 30%/50% for 1 turn. (Cooldown: 7/5 Turns)
2. Weak Constitution A: Increase own Star Weight by 500%/1000% for 1 turn. (Cooldown: 7/5 Turns) (Unlocks after 1st Ascension)
3. Mind's Eye (Fake) A: Increase own Critical Strength by 20%/40% for 3 turns, apply evade to self for 1 turn. (Cooldown: 8/6 turns) (Unlocks after 3rd Ascension)

Noble Phantasm
Three-Stage Thrust (Quick): Deals massive damage to one enemy that ignores defense and reduces their defense for 3 turns. (Overcharge: Defense reduction becomes more powerful.)

PROS
+Third highest attack of all Sabers, competitive with several 5* Berserkers
+Very high hitcounts on Quick cards, meaning very high stargen and NP gain
+Simple, powerful skills
+NP is no frills, but strong
+Q/Q/A/B/B instead of Q/Q/Q/A/B allows her to do more damage on her crit turns and follow up her own defense reduction, depending on how the draws work out
+Has the best VA in the game

CONS
-HP is on the lower end, not enough to cripple her but she is slightly flimsier than all other 5* Sabers
-Can't Buster Brave Chain.
-Can only Quick Brave Chain with her NP.
-Skills provide no support to allies whatsoever, can only help the team by generating stars with her attacks.
-Buster is only one hit, so she gets no stars or NP off of it.
-Both skills and NP lack any frills, minus a mild defense reduction.
-Quick lacks the support that Buster and Arts have.

Overall Opinion: Okita is a very simple but very good Servant, thanks solely to just how incredibly good her Quick cards are. They generate a ton of stars, and thanks to her high attack and the fact that you'll probably be giving her a Quick boosting CE, they hit decently hard too. She doesn't bring even the basics of support to the team, the only thing she has for survivability is a 1 turn evade that you'll probably be using for the crit boost, and she wishes there was a Quick equivalent to Merlin or Tamamo, but Okita is good, albeit basic.

Nobunaga Oda
Archer
4*
Debuts in Fate/Koha Ace
Originates from 16th Century Japan

Cards: Quick/Arts/Arts/Buster/Buster

ATK: 9494
HP: 11637

Skills
1. Tengu Tactics B: Increase the NP Gain of all allies by 20%/30% for 3 turns. (Cooldown: 8/6 Turns)
2. All Under Heaven A: Increase own attack against Divine enemies by 50%/100% for 1 turn. (Cooldown: 7/5 Turns) (Unlocks after 1st Ascension)
3. Demon King A: Increase own Critical Strength by 20%/50% and own Star Weight by 300%/600% for 3 turns.(Cooldown: 7/5 turns) (Unlocks after 3rd Ascension)

Noble Phantasm
Three Thousand Worlds (Buster): Powerful damage to all enemies. Extra damage to Riding enemies. (Note: Not Riders, but servants with the Riding passive. This is most Sabers, most Riders, and a few Lancers, as well as a couple of random other stragglers from miscellaneous classes.)

PROS
+HP and Attack are both above average for a 4* Archer.
+Good hitcounts on Arts and Buster cards, allowing for good NP Gain.
+Free
+Free NP5
+Demon King is a very powerful skill that, at max rank, can be up more often than it isn't.
+Tengu Tactics both works well with her NP Gain and supports the team.
+NP's conditional bonus damage applies to most Sabers, which as an Archer Nobunaga already likes to be facing.

CONS
-Can only Buster Brave Chain with her NP.
-All Under Heaven isn't useless, but it's very situational, and has no additional effects.
-Stargen is low and she only has one Quick card, which hamstrings her ability to make use of her best skill.
-Her NP doesn't support her crits at all, unlike, say, Drake.
-Lacks a standard attack boost of any sort.

Overall Opinion: Nobunaga's split in two directions. On the one hand, she's a servant with a pretty good NP, backed by her free NP5, and high NP Gain. So you might think she's a waveclearer for Saber nodes, and she can fulfill that role well. On the other hand, to really shine, she wants to go all-in on Demon King A, which is a role she can actually fulfill well... if there's someone else around to give her stars. Unlike Drake or Okita or even some of the bronze or silver Assassins, who can both generate stars and make use of them, Nobunaga's completely codependent - you have to build a team that can give her stars, and at that point you have to wonder if you could be giving those stars to someone better.

That said, Nobunaga's a good servant who fulfills both her possible roles well, and the fact that she can switch between them - she's a waveclear servant who isn't completely useless against bosses, and she's a crit servant who can deal with an entire wave at once - gives her some utility, especially since Tengu Tactics isn't to be underestimated as a support skill. She's just stuck in the middle, and average for it.

Tamamo no Mae
Caster
5*
Debuts in Fate/Extra
Originates from Japanese Mythology

Cards: Quick/Arts/Arts/Arts/Buster

ATK: 10546
HP: 14259

Skills
1. Curse EX: 80%/100% chance to reduce an enemy's NP Gauge by 1. (Cooldown: 7/5 Turns)
2. Morph A: Increase own defense by 10%/30% for 3 turns, increase own defense by 30% for 1 turn. (Cooldown: 7/5 Turns) (Unlocks after 1st Ascension)
3. Fox's Wedding EX: Increase an ally's Arts Card Performance by 30%/50% for 3 turns. (Cooldown: 7/5 turns) (Unlocks after 3rd Ascension) (Strengthening Quest: Increase an Ally's Arts Card Performance by 30%/50% for 3 turns, and heal them for 1000/2500.)

Noble Phantasm
Eightfold Blessings of Amaterasu (Arts): Reduce all allies' skill cooldowns by 1 turn, heal all allies, restore all allies NP Gauge. (Overcharge: Further restore allies' NP gauge.)

PROS
+One of the best Arts boosts in the game.
+Between Morph and her NP, incredibly survivable.
+One of the best NPs in the game in terms of utility.
+Wholly unique: no other Servant in the game reduces skill cooldowns.
+High NP Gain.
+Thanks to her NP and Curse, can stall an enemy's NP for a while.

CONS
-Contributes almost literally no damage.
-Morph and Curse are both underwhelming skills, only made good by her NP.
-Requires other Arts servants who have good skills in order to be used to her full potential.

Overall Opinion There is literally no other servant in the game that can stall as hard as Tamamo can - and more than that, with Fox Wedding, she can also provide a ridiculous boost to arts-based damage dealers. Vlad, for instance. She's a very versatile servant in a way, since she can work on both pure stall teams or as a support for Arts-based offensive teams, but the thing holding her back from being a perfect ten is that she isn't very 'splashable' in the way Zhuge Liang is. She can't take two good servants and make them gods, they need specific traits that she can act on. Arts-based damage, good skills, etc.

Halloween Elizabeth
Caster
4*
Debuts in Fate/Extra CCC, but also Fate/Grand Order
Originates from the fact that Halloween exists

Cards: Quick/Arts/Arts/Arts/Buster

ATK: 8616
HP: 11404

Skills
1. Innocent Monster EX: Gain 6/12 Critical Stars per turn for 3 turns, heal self for 1000/2000 HP. (Cooldown: 7/5 Turns)
2. Mana Burst (Pumpkin) A: Increase own Buster Card Performance for 25%/45% for 1 turn, inflict burn for 300 damage to all enemies for 10 turns. (Cooldown: 7/5 Turns) (Unlocks after 1st Ascension)
3. Performance Continuation: Grant self Guts for 5 turns (1000/2500 HP), gain 8 Critical Stars. (Cooldown: 9/7 Turns)

Noble Phantasm
Báthory Halloween Erzsébet (Buster): Strong attack to all enemies that ignores defense, and deals 500 damage to all enemies per turn for 3 turns. (Overcharge: Increases Damage Over Time.)

PROS
+Free
+Free NP5
+Strong Innocent Monster
+Decent NP with Mana Burst active.
+Q/A/A/A/B setup means very high NP gain.
+Good guts.

CONS
-Attack is fairly low, especially considering she's a Caster.
-Curse and Burn are both immensely, incredibly useless.
-Best skill is a Buster boost, has one Buster card.
-Can't Buster Brave Chain.
-Has no crit skills to make use of all those stars.

Overall Opinion Halloween Elizabeth is a waveclear with a few stars stapled to her. She certainly outclasses all the other AOE Buster Casters, like Gilles or Cu or Mephistopheles, but that isn't exactly high praise. She's useful for clearing Assassin nodes, which are always a pain to clear due to a lack of strong offensive Casters, but she isn't setting any records and she has no real use outside of that.

Fergus Mac Roich
Saber
3*
Debuts in Fate/Grand Order
Originates from Irish Mythology

Cards: Quick/Arts/Buster/Buster/Buster

ATK: 7460
HP: 9786

Skills
1. Valor A: Increase own Attack by 10%/30% for 3 turns, increase own Mental Debuff Resist by 20%/40% for 3 turns. (Cooldown: 7/5 Turns)
2. Defiant B: Increase own Defense by 15%/25% for 3 turns, decrease chance of Attack Buffs on Self succeeding by 50% for 3 turns. (Cooldown: 7/5 Turns) (Unlocks after 1st Ascension)
3. Mind's Eye (True) A: Increase own Defense by 9/18% for 3 turns, apply Evade to self for 1 turn. (Cooldown: 8/6 Turns) (Unlocks after 3rd Ascension)

Noble Phantasm
Caladbolg (Buster): Powerful attack to all enemies that reduces their Defense by 20% for 3 turns. (Overcharge: Reduces the Debuff Resistance of all enemies.)

PROS
+Good stats for a 3*, both Attack and HP
+Can Buster Brave Chain without NP.
+Decent NP.
+Decent attack boost.
+Two survival skills.
+Wants to fuck you.

CONS
-Has terrible NP gain
-Has terrible Star Generation
-Defiant's side effect is weird and clunky for a boost that is barely worth it even at the best of times.
-Wants to fuck you.

Overall Opinion Fergus is the only 3* Saber with an AOE NP, so if you haven't rolled any AOE Sabers, he does a better job of clearing Lancer nodes than Saber Lily. However, he pretty much needs either a kaleidoscope or someone who can boost his NP Gauge - or both - to actually get to using his NP. Besides that, he's just a very generic beatstick with almost nothing else to his name. He does one job kind of serviceably with some support, so let's just congratulate him on that.

Diarmuid Ua Duibhne
Lancer
3*
Debuts in Fate/Zero
Originates from Irish Mythology

Cards: Quick/Quick/Arts/Arts/Buster

ATK: 6877
HP: 10098

Skills
1. Mind's Eye (True) A: Increase own Defense by 9/18% for 3 turns, apply Evade to self for 1 turn. (Cooldown: 8/6 Turns)
2. Love Spot C: Decrease Attack of all Female enemies by 30%/50% for 1 turn. (Cooldown: 7/5 Turns) (Unlocks after 1st Ascension)
3. Knightly Tactics B: Increase own Star Generation by 30%/50% for 1 turn. (Cooldown: 7/5 Turns) (Unlocks after 3rd Ascension)

Noble Phantasm
Gae Dearg and Gae Buidhe (Quick): Incredibly powerful attack to one enemy that removes all buffs, and deals 500 damage to that enemy per turn for 3 turns. (Overcharge: Increases Damage Over Time.)

PROS
+Noble Phantasm has a high damage modifier.
+High HP.

CONS
-Attack is so bad that Leonidas has more than him if they're grailed to the same level.
-Curse is useless.
-NP only removes buffs after it tries to deal damage, meaning it can't pierce invulnerability or evade.
-Can only Quick Brave Chain with his NP.
-Even with Knightly Tactics, stargen is mediocre.
-Mind's Eye (True) is the worst of all evade skills.
-Love Spot is in the running for worst skill in the game. It probably isn't, but decreasing the attack of a female enemy for 1 whole turn is nearly useless. You can use it to try and tank enemy NPs, that's about it.
-NP Gain is fairly bad even with two Arts cards.
-His dangly strand of hair is really stupid.

Overall Opinion: Diarmuid would be a contender for worst Servant in the game if he didn't have the good fortune to have a Quick-based NP with an interlude. Even with his bad attack, he still does decent damage with his NP. However, he doesn't get to his NP very quickly, and even with doing okay damage when he can use it, it doesn't make up for his completely weightless skillset or the fact that his lances might as well be pool noodles outside of his NP.

Scathach
Lancer
5*
Debuts in Fate/Grand Order
Originates from Irish Mythology

Cards: Quick/Quick/Arts/Buster/Buster

ATK: 11375
HP: 14285

Skills
1. Wisdom of the Abyss A: 80% chance to increase own Critical Damage by 30%/50% for 1 turn, 80% chance to increase own Star Weight by 300%/500% for 1 turn, apply Evade to self for 1 turn. (Cooldown: 7/5 Turns)
2. Primeval Rune (Scathach): Increase Quick Card Performance of one ally by 30%/50% for 1 turn. (Unlocks after 1st Ascension)
3. God Slayer B: Increase own attack against Divine and Undead enemies by 50%/100% for 1 turn. (Cooldown: 7/5 Turns) (Unlocks after 3rd Ascension)

Noble Phantasm
Gae Bolg Alternative (Quick): Incredibly powerful attack to one enemy with a 500% chance to stun and a 50% chance of Instant Death. (Overcharge: Increases Instant Death chance.)

PROS
+High HP
+Fairly good Attack
+Wisdom of the Abyss is an incredibly multipurpose skill
+NP is very powerful
+Even with only one Arts card, NP Gain is high due to high hitcounts on Buster cards. Arts > Buster > Buster generates a lot of NP for her.
+Decent Stargen.
+Two Buster cards means good damage.
+Primeval Rune is a good boost that can be used on an ally when necessary or just given to Scathach herself, giving her some flexibility.
+Divine and Undead are fairly common traits that she can absolutely demolish.
+High stun rate on NP, decent instant death rate.

CONS
-Only one Arts card means sometimes clunky hands.
-Stargen isn't as high as you'd expect.
-Wisdom of the Abyss is RNG dependent, even with an 80% chance you often only get one or the other of the boosts.
-God Slayer is, like with all skills of its type, situational.

Overall Opinion: Scathach is great. She hits hard with her buster cards, and their high hit counts means she can get NP or stars off of them too, which is always a bonus. Her NP is incredibly powerful, combining high damage with useful side effects, and she synergizes well with pretty much every Quick servant in the game. The only thing stopping her from being totally insane is the RNG on Wisdom of the Abyss.

Score: 8.5/10
