Here is the site I used for making a nice properly interactive grid with the top labels in place, though I prefer X and O to - and + generally. A minor quibble.

1. Alain, Ebert, and the Dragon of the Forest all have hordes of metal. (Implication: Neither Alain nor Ebert are Forest)

2. The Dragon of Fire has a horde of gems.

2a. Neither Alain nor Ebert are the Dragon of Fire.

3. Carange and the Dragon of the Forest mated; their child was the dragon with the horde of electrum. The family gets together from time to time. (Implication: Carange, Forest, and electrum are three different dragons)

4. Demout is younger than the Dragon of Fire, but older than the dragon with the horde of silver, who is the youngest of all dragons. (Implication: Demout, Fire, and silver are three different dragons)

4a. Since silver horde is the youngest, they can't be Carange or Forest, who have a child.

4b. The gold hoarder must be the Dragon of the Forest, and by extension is neither Alain nor Ebert.

5. Balparais, the Dragon of the Plains, and the dragon with the horde of gold (who we know is also the Dragon of the Forest) all hate each other, and will never meet. (Implication: Balparais, Plains, and gold are three different dragons)

5a. The Dragon of the Forest and gold hoarder must be Demout.

5b. Neither Balparais nor Plains will meet with Demout, while Carange and the electrum horder meet with Demout occasionally (clue 3). So neither Balparais nor Plains can be either of Carange or the electrum hoarder.

6. Ebert is afraid of heights. (Implication: Ebert is not the Dragon of the Peaks.)

7. I am the oldest of all of dragonkind. (Implication: the Dragon of Ice does not horde silver (clue 4) or electrum (clue 3).)

7a. The Dragon of the Peaks hoards electrum.

7b. The Dragon of the Plains hoards silver.

From here we move on to conclusions made much easier by the grid itself.

8. Ebert must be Ice or Plains, and must horde electrum or silver. However, Ice can only horde diamonds or rubies, as all the metal hordes have been accounted for. Thus, Ebert must be the Dragon of the Plains, who hordes silver.

8a. From there, we see Alain hordes electrum, and so is the Dragon of the Peaks.

From the information given, there does not appear to be any way to distinguish the dragons of Fire and Ice for the player (the one alternate solution to the PoP will give us the horde, but we don't seem able to get the truename), though the Dragon of Ice knows their own truename and horde and would be able to know the other by process of elimination.
