Leon: It's so dark in here...
Ophelia: Oh! I think there's something [ahead]! Be careful!
Leon: More monsters!?
Ophelia: I figured as much...but, what a pain to have to battle in such cramped quarters.

The bonus dungeon layout is always a round arena where the enemies are at one end of the circle and our party at the other, so I won't be making screencaps unless I have on-field treasure to pick up (or have other events of note to report) and my opening couple of moves will pretty much always be identical. These battles are a great way for anybody--especially casters, since they can hit/kill so many enemies at once--still behind in levels to catch up.
At the end of the battle, the party talks to one another.
Leon: Finally took care of them.
Ralph: Maybe these creatures ended up here because they just got lost?
Fam: Perhaps! Huh? Something wrong, Marcia?
Marcia: Hm...I keep having a feeling that the atmosphere [coming] from above is very strange.
Ophelia: Same here. It's probably a very powerful monster.
Leon: Lee-Ann, would you happen to know anything?
Lee-Ann: I'm not sure, but...there may be someone lying in wait...
T. T.: Who? Could it be the master of this tower?
Ophelia: No matter what, we'll find out once we get up there.

On this floor is a sword upgrade for Leon.
At level 22, Fam learns her ultimate spell, a party wide heal that also restores all status ailments (but it doesn't do anything for units who are dead).

At the beginning of the game, just one of these units was considered boss-worthy, so it feels really awesome to come into one of these battles and utterly own three of them at once.

Ugh, healers, my least favorite enemy type, and I get to deal with six of them at once. Glad I got lucky with those status ailments, or this could have taken a lot longer.
