Following the unprecedented success of Pugnacious Doggie's Guide to Field EffectsTM, it would probably be a good idea to make one for characters before it becomes too big of a job. I'll update this if a new development occurs with any character or we are introduced to a new person.

Marianette: Ten(?) year old girl who can do calculus and apparently got sacrificed to Arceus. The Pokemon, not the character. Arceus was warped to another time/dimension where she is apparently not dead, but I don't really know what's up with that as of now.

Arceus: Arceus is the 'protagonist' of Rejuvenation. Somehow involved in a terrorist plot, as her mother has been abducted.
Skills: remaining stationary in any scene of conflict, resolving everything with Pokemon battles.
Hobbies:

Yancy: Arceus' mother. Is actually a canon character - Yancy was in Black/White 2 and would occasionally call the player. Basically the closest a Pokemon game has gotten to romantic interest. This makes very little sense in context of the game at the moment. Was wanted by a terrorist organisation. It is implied that she may not be Arceus' mother, or alive at all.

Crescent: Edgy lady who is involved in Arceus' parenting scandal. Has a revolting shiny Gothitelle. Relationship to Arceus is unknown. Sent Jenner to another dimension (maybe, her Gothitelle was present).Did the same to Zetta in Amethyst Cave and was present when Shadiw Mewtwo turned on Madelis. Will definitely have more story relevance.

Piano Lady:
Pushed a piano onto some Deoxys so Arceus could escape, before being kidnapped herself. Her fate is currently unknown.

Tesla (no image available yet): Member of Elite 8 who rescued Arceus from the sinking cruise ship. Has done nothing egregious, only giving moral support and helpful items. Tesla is a good character at the moment. Also seems to be the only character who notices that Arceus was involved in a terror plot.

Bootleg Raven: Initial substitute for the missing trainer 5 sprite. Was eventually replaced, but the existence of multiple protagonists in one save resulted in the worst kind of paradox in true fanfic-pseudoscience style. Eventually defeated by Arceus and supposedly erased from existence. Weapon of choice is Corint, who was also removed from the game's coding.

Amanda: Was the person who actually gave Arceus her starter. Works in the Gearen lab, but never does any inside jobs. Sister of Jan, though I cannot (and will not attempt to) confirm if she's a real person. I don't care, it has no relevance.

Jan: Creator insert for the game's developer. Like Ame from Pokemon Reborn, Jan exists to give advice about how to beat the overtuned gyms. Not sure if Jan is also the Champion or will be killed off.

Professor Jenner: Clearly evil. Caught suspiciously talking to someone in the most conspicuous way. Father of Melia. Tasked Arceus with supervising Melia in the forest. Was sucked into a portal after conspiring against Team Xen, but not before being yelled at by Melia first. Ostensibly, the person who did it probably isn't a part of Team Xen. Still missing.

Ren: Second rival character and assistant for Professor Jenner. Partnered with Arceus in the battle against Garbage Crew. Responsible for fainting a pink Noibat. Has done nothing to redeem himself. No wait, he locked Arceus out of Goldenleaf town because he wanted to be the one who beat xenophobia.

Venam: Typical angsty teenager. Well known for her one liners like "SCREW THE POLICE!" and faking injury to get sympathy from strangers. I honestly wouldn't give as much of a shit about her if I wasn't forced to placate her to progress the story, only for her to mock me about a decision which I had absolutely no stake in. Likes hanging out in the sewers and hates being called Veronica. Currently kicked out of her house for being an insufferable human being. Has improved slightly after the course of her gym battle. Has a piece-of-shit Grimer and a Seviper as an ace. Lost decisively to a Chimecho. Now out of favour with Arceus for getting her caught up in a religious extremist subplot. Gets back in favour with Arceus for not liking Saki.

Saki: There's more to this character beyond the hotel scene, but it's not good. Basically Julia from Pokemon Reborn, but due to this game being a lot better, her character immediately sticks out as one of the worst.

Melia: A Mary Sue. Can make shiny Pokemon appear. Due to become the normal type gym leader. There is nothing inherently unlikable about her at the moment, and she is now best friends with Arceus. Successfully created life in the form of living garbage. Teleported away from the antagonists. Current status: dead.

Narcissa: Only briefly met in Goldenwood forest. A ghost type gym leader. The town that she's from, Goldenleaf town, is apparently xenophobic from an NPC's and her own dialogue. This xenophobia has been confirmed because Ren locked Arceus out of the town.

Eli and Sharon: Pair of team Xen grunts who don't seem overly confident. Sharon will definitely die to create pathos for the male character, and Eli is foreign for comic relief.

Zetta: Most important member of Team Xen we've met yet. Has the ability/technology to summon a Dimensional Rift. He's pretty hostile compared to all the other Team Xen members. He made fun of Arceus' name. Very upset about Melia's death for some reason. Was also sucked into another dimension by Crescent. No, I don't know why.

Madelis: Yet another villain, who is supposedly responsible for creating the new Shadow Pokemon. Somewhat self obsessed. Has a fucking Shadow Mewtwo. At badge 2.

Novae: Recurring help centre battler. Involved in some kind of tribe/group.

Karen: Bitch. Took Arceus' mega ring (and by extension usable team choices) and is therefore irredeemable.

Nim: Quirky psychic lady who kidnapped Arceus and warped to another dimension for a battle. Instead of, you know, asking.

Aelita: Student of Keta. Will behave as a rival later on.

Keta: Gym leader, who has done some kind of ritual to separate his soul from his body to escape whatever egregious past he has. Also a member of team Xen. Dies defending Arceus form the shadow Mewtwo she beat.
