18: Hammertime

Fire Emblem!

I still don't agree with this.

That should not be a problem.

hey hold on now is that

another fucking bard

"You were meant to be on a stage."

Well then.

I don't think your plan is going to work out.

See, there's only one of us.

And that's more than enough for you. To summarize:

The end. No moral the moral is "don't fuck with Guy".

But I know that's not what you're here for.

This, by the way, are the people the game apparently thinks I should be benching.

I respectlessly disagree.

Which is like respectfully agreeing, except it's the exact opposite.

Yes yes, we heard already.

I feel I repeat myself, but the boss isn't very scary.

Especially not... weighed down by his... dual hammers, thanks, game, didn't he use to have a speedwing or something not shit to drop?

This guy is here to open the door and completely fail to hit anyone or anything ever.

And this guy is here to raid the treasury.

Bartre softened up this guy for Nino, who said the Nino equivalent of "who the fuck asked for your help". So probably like "thanks" or something.

And Serra

went for the archer, looking incredibly stylish!

With Heath's help, Serra finished the archer, and it's enemy turn.

20 hit.

Good level!

oh but it turns out the mage doubles and onerounds Serra so none of that actually happened.

Next attempt, I sent Guy to kill him. It turned out nicely.

The rest played out much the same, but Nino's level was even better!

Since we had to use Heath's one door key in the first Guy chapter, we have to rely on this guy to open the door for us. I'd have loved to nick his lockpick, for several reasons, but we just can't.

I'm taking out my frustrations on this guy. Emblem bow's better than the longbow, thankfully.

And that's a kills for Nils!

She has grown too powerful! I fed this guy to Serra instead, I want to see what she can do. Because come on, it's pink Hector.

Sealen comes charging

and manages to poison Nino.

Some more guys spawned at the bottom, but first, this jerk.

Serra's swordslayer works pretty well against thieves. Couldn't oneshot, but Heath was right there.

So it is.

Of course, he was a boss, so Nino got another level for her effort.

And a hammer.

I tried to crit this monk, but Nils is stunningly unwilling to roll that 40+.

That meant I had to use Florina, but she's right here so it's not a problem.

Nino's been poisoned once today, and decided that was enough.

A lone archer spawned in the top left. He's... inadequate.

While he tries to break down the wall into the throne room, Heath got to work on the treasure. I still don't have a single staff user (why) so this is not very exciting.

Keep trying, buddy!

Fun fact, thrones cure ailments! Purely for the enemies' benefit, of course - you get like two opportunities to sit on one yourself.

Game, are you fucking with me right now?

It's not funny!

Well fuck it, time to end this guy.

...sorry, I forgot you're awful, next:

There we go.

And we're done.

I was starting to say something like, "if they had more dudes, why didn't they send them in when it mattered" and then I realized they probably saw what Nino did to their boss so this makes perfect sense.

Next on Ninian's Bizarre Randomizer:

Good units!!
