Playable Characters
Karen: The adorable fire mage from Farland Saga 1, who has gone from generic "cute child" to generic "feisty teenaged girl" in the eight years that has passed in the game's plot.
Al: A young swordsman with amnesia who believes that Karen somehow has the key to his identity, and is strong-armed into being her bodyguard so she can take jobs from the adventurer's guild. He is actually the reincarnation of the angel All-Vice, created in a "I'm My Own Father Thanks to Time Travel" situation.
Alice: Mark's daughter, who ran away from home believing that Mark was being overprotective and is almost immediately kidnapped as a result. Joins the party in order to see more of the world.
Sarah: A wandering martial artist who challenges random people and robs those she defeats. Offers to marry Al upon losing to him, and flirts with him incessantly.
Radish: A winged person with a singing impediment that was introduced and then promptly gotten rid of thanks to the Power of Friendship in the space of one mission. Is proficient with a spear.
Sophia: An elf woman who had a thing with T. T. 8 years ago but broke up with him over his tendancy to be a shameless flirt with other women. 8 years ago, she was kidnapped by the guild. When T. T. hurried to the rescue, he mistook Sophia-eight-years-into-the-future for her and proposed on the spot, causing the ontological paradox from hell past-Sophia jealousy and heartbreak.
Lulu: Sophia's daughter by T. T., an adorable little girl who is extremely skilled in magic.

Major NPCs
Barkeep: Owns the bar where the party lives, he treats them with a kindness that seems to go beyond professional curtesy.
Gaston: The apparent head of the adventurer's guild. Doesn't think Karen (even after she drags Al along) can cut it as an adventurer. No one patronizes weak-looking scrubs like Gaston!
T. T.: The playboy earth mage/illusionist from Farland Saga 1, he has since retired from adventuring. Somehow even more of a laughingstock this time around.
General Store Clerk: A lovely young lady with twin blonde pigtails, she seems to be a mundane human being. Implied to be the same shop clerk as the one in Farland Saga 1.
Weapon/Armor Store Clerk: A bald, muscular man who perpetually flexes to show off his impressive build. 8 years ago, he still had a luxious head of hair, but was driven to alcoholism in despair and helplessness due to Outrack's sorry state of affairs, until he was inspired by Karen's determination to help rescue the other party members; Sarah, mistaking him for the enemy, threw a hastily concocted potion at him, causing him to go bald.
Markdogarl: The richest man in town, his former shady dealings make him a constant target of unsavory people. Ever since his wife's passing, he has all but smothered his daughter with his desire to keep her safe.
Elizabeth: The second wealthiest woman in town and Curry's owner.
Curry: Elizabeth's pet cat, who bears an uncanny resemblance to her. Leads the town's feral cats without Elizabeth's knowledge.

Antagonists
Sorel: A mysterious man who crossed paths with the party several times before revealing his true identity--he is the angel Soriel-Vice, exiled to earth after being framed for a rebellion; he kidnaps Al in an attempt to go back to heaven and/or go back in time to save Piper.
Deima: A winged demon who leads a band of pirates raiding the countryside. Has a bit of a speech impediment.
All-Vice: An angel tasked with guarding the time-space continuum, he killed Sarah's father when the latter attempted to go back in time to save his wife, and appears before the party when Karen expresses a desire to go further back in time to save her parents. Upon defeat, he is reborn as Al.
