Hello there this part will introduce the characters

The characters:
We have the choices of Yamato, Uzume, and Hinome to choose from as each of the different shrine maidens and each have somewhat different playstyles.

First up we have Yamato

Having an element of water and wielding a sword she is the melee fighter of the trio with being able to tear up enemies up close. Her charge attack requires spirit (they all do) and she essentially performs Links hurricane spin. I would say that for the most part she has the easiest time with the levels but the toughest time with bosses.

“Hello there nice to meet you.”

Up next is Uzume

With the element of earth and skilled with a Bow Uzume is able to snipe targets from far away. However, large swarms of enemies can be a threat as her arrows do the lowest damage, sort of. Her charge attack depends on how much spirit she has but it acts as an everything around me dies button as she unleashes an unlimited blade works or in this case a lot of homing arrows. While she struggles with enemies hordes she can tear through some bosses.
“Oh. H-hello there.”

Last but definitely not least we have Hinome

The final member of the shrine maiden trio Hinome has an element of fire and primarily uses a shield for combat but also has a dagger. Her Charge attack has her spin the shield around her as a very powerful AOE. Her shield will oneshot most enemies and those that don’t go down can only take a dagger strike or two afterwards. However, this leaves her very vulnerable as her dagger has short range and only hits directly in front of her so she has to wait for her shield to come back before using it again. She is the high risk high reward character and was actually the first character I beat the game with.
“Sup guys how’s it goin?”

Now I have already beaten the story as Uzume and Hinome (and recorded their playthroughs) so for this Journey we will be playing as Yamato.

So she will be the main focus of this silly and short journey
“H-However”
“the two of us will be providing professional commentary!”
“ah yes… professional. This is going to be a mess.”
