What is Firework?
Firework is a short oriental horror game with around 3 hours of gameplay developed by Chinese independent developer group Shiying Studio. It's made from RPGMaker MV, available in steam with both Simplified Chinese and English.

”Steam Page Description” posted:

An accidental fire at a funeral forces the police to re-investigate a closed case of massacre. Lin Lixun participates the re-investigation by chances. As the investigation goes deeper, the past of the victims gradually emerges. However, the case becomes more bewildering.

As a horror game this game doesn’t have much jump scares, but it does have its creepy moment. Though I still think this is not a very scary game overall – its plot shines more.

How will this LP be running?
This will be a screenshot LP with occasional GIF and my comments about some minor background knowledge from time to time. I’ll also update the of video playthrough without commentary at the end of each chapter.
I’ve already recorded the whole game, so this LP will get regular updates Per Monday, Thurrsday and Saturday, we have 8 updates in total.

Will this LP get choices?
Sadly, no. This game is rather linear in its progress; a single storyline, a single ending, no branches, no choices.
But why are you writing an LP for it if so?
Well, I did it mainly as a recommendation because…I found something decent in this game and I want to share. This game has some stuff that a mere English localization won’t deliver (the Chinese text in the background are not localized, for example), so I want to write some additional notes for them as well. It’s more a “stay a while and listen” style of LP, sorry.

Spoiler Policy
This is a short game (with only around 3-4 hours of gameplay) – but let me place a Please don’t spoil anything here as it does has some unexpected turns of the plot.

Writer’s Notes
- Criticism is welcome. I’m still new to LP writing so I may make mistakes. Please don’t hesitate to correct them.
- This game is more on the atmospheric side and may have minor plot holes. Please… well, please be a little more open-minded about them.

One last thing…
