Update 42: Air Ride

For the next segment of the game, I’ve decided to go with this party. No particular reason other than to shuffle things up.

We’re going to head out and assess the situation around Miross. I shudder to think of the damage Haze has done in that area.
Whoa whoa, we fighting him already?
No, that would be suicide. Emille wasn’t kidding when she said that nothing we have at the moment can scratch a True Dragon. Even if we made it to Niara back then, all we would have accomplished is giving him an appetizer before he and his fellow dragons could dine on this planet. But we might as well see what we’re up against first.
Okay. Try to stay safe. We’re gonna stay here and show Arietta around Kazan. Come on, there’s this bar nearby that serves the most delicious fried shrimp...

Now that the world state has changed again, the seller in Kazan has also changed his stock to accommodate. For 700 G, this is what you have a chance of getting:

Volcano Scroll (800 G): 11/101 chance
Heat Regulator (750 G): 30/101 chance
Somanel (600 G): 60/101 chance

You save a bit on Volcano Scrolls if you get one, and Zeza Port and Nigirio Inn are the only places to buy them from so it’s a bit of a convenience if you need them. Though they don’t really do that much damage so I wouldn’t advise buying from him just for those. Heat Regulators are only available from Zeza Port, but they’re not something you need that much of. This is a much more convenient location to stock up on Somanels since those are only available in the Hairein Grounds and Nigirio Inn, and he made them much more common for this batch, but you’re losing money each time you do. Not to mention your money can be lost further if you land on that 41/101 chance to get something else.

Incidentally, flying over mountains does fill in the squares on the world map. So if you want a yellow world map, that’s how you get that done. But I’d advise waiting a bit until you can complete a sidequest to increase the airship’s speed, before going on a highlighting spree, as doing that now will be slow and annoying.

Whoa, he works fast.
All that Bloom we worked so hard to get rid of, just spreading back out this quickly...

The airship can land in patches of Bloom just fine, it just can’t land in forests.

Well, let’s see how bad the reinfection got here.

What the hell happened to this place?
It’s so... unrecognizable now.
I can’t believe this used to be that little forest we went through all that time ago.
This bit of destruction is just a small taste of what True Dragons are really capable of.

Behold. The Valorian Wood was once an optional small little side dungeon. Now it’s been converted into an entirely new dungeon, and one we have to go through to finish the game.

That's why I can't let you through... not until you're ready to win.
That’s fine. I’ve seen all I’ve needed to here. And I hope you all remember what you’ve witnessed as well. True Dragons are not just stronger Imperial Dragons. They’re far more powerful than you realize.
Since you know so much about them, you wouldn’t happen to know anything about Haze, would you?
I’m afraid I know nothing. Of the True Dragons I’ve fought, I’ve never met Haze. His arrival to this planet a while ago was when I first learned of his existence.
So we’re on our own here. Great.
Ha! Like that stopped us before. Need I remind you that we took down 6 Imperial Dragons and killed hundreds of dragons too? Once we learn how to take down a True Dragon, ohoho, none of them will be safe!
A terrifying proposition.

Though we can’t do much here at the moment until we can actually kill Haze.

This section before the knight does have encounters, but there’s no point into getting into these fights early, as none of the materials the monsters drop in this dungeon even unlock any new pieces of equipment.

As much as I know you’ll hate to hear this, but you realize we can’t exactly just leave this Bloom here.
Rgh, ya got a point. Might as well make things easier on Miross while we’re here.
Don’t worry. I know of a way we can deal with this Bloom quickly!
No.
Come on!
Absolutely not. We are not engaging in the acts of continental arson! Your act of lighting the ocean on fire was already a huge violation of the laws of physics and needless slaughter of the sealife! We are not having a repeat of that on land!
Bah, I really wanted to see that. Old fashioned way it is, I guess.

While doing my rounds of flower extermination, I ran into a Bloom Seed.

Celebrations were had upon its death.

I... really... did not miss... this crap!
As nice as this was for Miross, what are we gonna do if the Bloom spreads out that fast again?
Obviously we’ll just have to-
Haru, don’t you dare say that we’ll have to trample them again! That will accomplish nothing but reducing our walking appendages into bloody stumps while Haze can just regrow the Bloom as much as he pleases!
...Never mind.
We’ll just have to wait till we can tackle the root of the problem itself! Like with all those other places where the dragons were spreading the Bloom!
Y-yeah, let’s just wait till we can kill Haze, and hope he doesn’t start his extreme gardening session again by the time we’re done.

If you’re wondering how much of the Bloom Haze reintroduced when he landed, he grew 730 Bloom tiles that we had to get rid of again. Yep, clearing all that out took a good while much to my annoyance.

Let’s see how Miross is handling the current situation.

Those aren't luxuries. They're fundamental.
Do try to keep those values up in these times, even if it may be difficult to do so.

And I've learned some things from our ancestors. It's a pity we can't focus more on peace.
What periods of peace you do get should be valued greatly at the very least.

I'll research to the end!

Are these guys going to eat us all up?
Not if we have anything to say about it! We’ll get that nasty dragon out of your hair in no time!

This is a mistranslation. She’s actually asking the opposite, essentially “why isn’t the Queen doing anything for the people right now?!”

Hey, you try fighting off a big bad dragon if it sounds that easy to ya.
Wonder if she’s still caught up in that funk.
Let’s avoid mentioning that to her. Or anyone else in here for that matter.

Surviving means there's still hope to win.

Called out, yeesh.

"Never say die." I think we ought to fight till the end, and never give up... I know we ought to!
Ha! Defiant to the end, I like that!
Seems like a buncha people here and in Kazan are that way too.
Mm, yes. It’s good to not lose hope in these times. We’ll all need it.

Ha, working hard like you said you would? Keep at it and don’t let that get you down!

Crisis averted?
Don’t any of you get any ideas on defaulting on loans like this.

The fortune teller has this to say to us.

Defending is more difficult than attacking. One moment could be fatal. Guard yourselves to guard humanity!
Won’t need to defend if we just kill our enemies before they get the chance!
But you can’t always guarantee such a thing would happen.
Don’t you need to take some time to power up your world shattering spells first?
Yeah, a good defense would be handy there.
Feh, details details!

I had so wanted to shake her hand before I died...
Even in times like these, some people’s priorities never change.

...I’ll be tactful by refraining from commenting at all.
Yeesh. That bad, huh?

...Sorry, it's not a good time to say that, huh?
You probably could have worded that better at the very least.

Huuuh, I wonder? ♪ Do we taste good? ♪
...
Considering that they created us just to eat us, I’d say the answer is probably yes! ♪
...

It's none of my business, but people do seem to rely on you a lot.
Ha, your concern is appreciated. But worry not. Not all of us constantly do everything that Odyssey is known for, which relieves a lot of the burdens that come with our work.

Welllll, I guess we're all dead women. Hah... hah..

Darn. I was hoping he’d have a map of the woods as they are now.
I’m not even sure how anyone would have a map of the area at this point in time. Not without dying horribly.

Now there’s a bit of an interesting interaction with this mapmaker. See, he only has the map for the first version of Valorian Wood. The 2nd version he doesn’t even have a map of.

However, if you never bought the map from him and waited until after Haze arrived to buy a map from him, he has this to say:

100G for a map of Valorian Wood? I... uh, guess you should know it's not up to date. But close enough!

You can then purchase the map from him, which gives you the map to the first version of the Valorian Wood. But since you can no longer access that area, all that accomplishes is wasting your money. Not even waiting off on this map will grant you the map to Haze’s version of Valorian Wood, but nice try.

It was a pirate named Inte who brought back seeds from distant lands. Thanks to her, it's quite common around here now.
So that’s who we have to thank for all those fruits and medicine from it we have today. Fascinating.

This isn’t relevant for anything. It’s just lore.

Living up to your responsibilities at last? Keep it up.

Congratulations on getting a reality check. Not everyone is interested in peace, and there is simply no negotiating with those types. If we wish to survive these times, we need to actually fight back.

I've only heard rumors, but it sounds strong. Perhaps it could be a last resort if our defenses fail? As the tale goes, the royal family hid it there.
I didn’t see anything like that the last time we were there. I mean before Haze came and deforested the place.
Perhaps Haze’s intrusion might have revealed its hiding place. It’s worth looking around once we can get in.
I dunno, that new forest looked kinda big. We can’t search like every last spot in there.
Maybe the queen can tell us where it is. Once she gets out of that funk, you know.

After all, I hear Dragon meat is delicious. Can you take me hunting sometime?
Ha ha! Of course! I can cook them on the fly too, so no need to haul all that back for a meal!

I like this guy, that’s just so metal.

There may be some completely new species. Take precautions!

The Valorian Wood’s encounter tables have been completely changed to contain entirely new enemies as well. Though the old encounter tables were just pulled from Rorakka Forest’s, so nothing is truly lost there.

It's rumored that the Rushe are using their own lives as weapons. Can it be true? It's so dreadful... I can't accept it. Sacrificing people to fend off an enemy... But what would I do if that were the only way to protect Miross? They say that a new Dragon has alit south of Miross... I... Although I am quaking with fear, I must learn the truth of the matter.
...Unfortunately being in a position like this means some hard decisions are unavoidable. Try not to let whatever measures you take here haunt you for the rest of your life.

That’s all for Miross. Now let’s get into the main portion of this update.

Now that we have an airship, let’s pay a visit to Bassoon.

Did you get the key to the Northern Pesta ruins from Pleroma?
How’d ya know about that!?
Ho ho ho... A little bird told me. Don't be so surprised. I'd like to ask you to search the ruins. I'll give you something good when you come back.

We can complete this quest now. We needed to have completed his previous quest relating to Northern Pesta and have gotten the airship to receive this quest.

I'll give you the key when you come back.

Which means taking a quick detour to a quest office and coming back.

Right, now let’s get on with this quest.

This is a ancient key, which I reproduced using the data you found. You can use it at Northern Pesta. It will open the door. The front gate will take you to the heart of the ruins. You should find a Doll there with a Core. That's what I need. But even I don't know what things are like inside. Be careful, Hunters.

That’s supposed to be robot, not doll. But enough about nitpicks, let’s head out.

Remember that part of this dungeon that was locked off to us before? That’s the portion of the dungeon that will be the main focus for this update.

I guess this is the place?
Ooh! Stick the card in already! Wondering what was past this door was kinda bugging me for ages!

There is a slot here to insert something. You slipped the Stiff Card into the slot.

Time to see what lies below.

The enemies themselves are still the same as in the earlier parts of Northern Pesta. However now the actual formations have more enemies stuffed into them in these encounter tables. Encounters of 4 or 5 enemies are the norm in the deeper parts of the ruins.

Hold it. There’s something moving around here.
Dragons? Though I’m not sure what they’re doing down here.
Let’s get a closer look.

I’m preeeeetty sure those aren’t dragons.
If dragons could turn into giant robots, I’m sure we’d have several more things to be concerned about.
Not gonna lie, that’d be kinda awesome! Even though it’d make our jobs a lot harder.

These enemies aren’t dragons, but they patrol around some set areas pretty slowly. However if they catch sight of you, they’ll speed up greatly and chase you down, so try not to get caught by them. Especially since these enemies can be handfuls.

Let’s see just what these enemies are.

Oh.

My my. So this is what you scrapped to get that airship active.
Oh dear. Looks like there are a lot more of them roaming around down here.
Don’t worry. These don’t look any stronger than that one we fought back then. Shouldn’t be a problem to overload and melt these into slag as well!

Remember how I said the Anti-Dragon PZ wasn’t all that hard? Yeah that’s cause we only had to fight one of them last time. Fighting several of them in a row is a bit of a different story, as they can be quite the resource drain if you’re killing these non-stop.

Functionally they’re similar to dragons in this dungeon, as every moving enemy in this dungeon is an Anti-Dragon PZ. They even behave the same way when slapped with Skill Seal, a 25% chance to waste a turn casting a skill, and a 75% chance to just go for a basic attack. (Despite having boss level resistances to Skill Seal.)

Unfortunately these aren’t actually considered dragons, so they’re tougher to take down since you aren’t getting the 30% damage and infliction rate boost for clearing out the Bloom around Northern Pesta. Also you can’t run from these once one is in the battle, so if you’re caught very unprepared, yeah say goodbye to that run. I’ll repost their stats here for reference, as these Anti-Dragon PZs are entirely the same enemies as the boss fight version, AI behavior and all.

These things are quite a bit tougher than dragons, so you might want to consider putting off this quest until you’re at least capable of taking these down regularly.

Fortunately, the fact that they aren’t considered dragons means that once you destroy one of these, it’s gone for good. They can’t respawn, even if you use a Bloom Seed. Which means that you can go through this dungeon at a slower pace if you need to. And killing them rains oodles of experience on your party, so it can be worth scrapping all these machines.

The things inside here... They are better off left buried where they lie. This horrific inheritance must never be allowed to see the light of day. We have all agreed that the ruins will be sealed. We regret the loss of the knowledge within, but not of the danger. In the future, Pleroma must strictly control all access to these ruins.

Interesting. I guess that explains what these anti-dragon weapons were doing here.
Pleroma or someone else must have created these in an attempt to fight off dragons. Or prepare for a future invasion.
Hrm. It seems at some point they went maverick given that they’re hostile towards us, and not the dragons.
Guess that’s why the place got sealed off. Twice, it’s got like two levels of security too since we couldn’t break in here til now... Ya think Emille had something to do with building these robots?
I wouldn’t be surprised.
So-
And before you ask, no. I certainly didn’t make use of these several thousand years ago. I didn’t even know this facility existed until the rest of you uncovered it.
Oh. Say, you think we could make these robots fight for us somehow?
...If I had my old body, reprogramming these mechanical monstrosities would be child’s play. But I don’t, and am instead stuck in the body of a little dainty princess. So I’m afraid I’m going to have to shoot the idea down, as much as you’d love the idea of piloting giant robots to fight dragons with.
Awww. Sending them to the scrap heap it is!

The treasure chests here aren’t particularly noteworthy.

It takes this party about 4 turns to deal with one of these anti-dragon weapons. Which takes a bit longer than my first fight with these, but that’s namely because Nila doesn’t really have access to Lightning spells anymore, so my kills are a bit slower.

That’s it for this portion of the ruins.

Here are the movement patterns for the Anti-Dragon PZs on this floor. Pretty simple, but like before they’ll get aggressive and chase you down really fast if they see you.

If you need to rest, remember that Ren’s inn is nearby. I’ve had to do this a few times because chewing through 3200 LIFE constantly can drain my party’s MANA and supplies.

Retiring another Anti-Dragon PZ got level ups for the party.

Discord Song now has a 75% infliction rate.

The rest of the party had nothing worth showing.

Oh also just a warning. Dragons can’t join in on a fight if there’s actually no room for them, so until there’s enough room to fit their sprite in, they’ll just wait patiently even while their turn counter is at 1.

Uhh, ya’ll hear that?
Hmm? Yes why I do believe- OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS!

Bosses do not have this limitation. They will outright delete any sprite on screen to make room for themselves. So don’t stay in random battles too long in these parts, especially since the Anti-Dragon PZs are flagged to block any escape attempts.

I should have known better than to bring a blade to this kind of battle...

Haru unfortunately gets gunned down horribly while I was showcasing this mechanic.

Nila still melts it into slag, just like the rest.

We get a nice prize here for our troubles at least. A well timed one too in my case.

That’s the end of this segment.

Now we’re back on the other side of the upper floor.

Nothing interesting here other than 2 now non-existent Anti-Dragon PZs.

It was at this point where I decided to go back and rest up at Ren’s inn.

...Oh. Don’t tell me.

While heading back to where I was before, I discovered something rather interesting.

YA MEAN WE COULD HAVE JUST GONE DOWN THERE RIGHT AWAY THIS ENTIRE TIME!?
H-hey! At least we know it’s there now!

Ark’s reaction was basically my own (add in a “WHAT THE FUCK!?” somewhere, I don’t remember where) when I discovered that shortcut and could have saved myself some pain. Previously I was taking the other shortcut to backtrack which is a bit out of the way of the door to the deeper parts of the ruins.

You want to know the absolutely bizarre part? This isn’t documented in any walkthrough or fansite I could find at the time of this update’s writing (Which namely includes the Japanese ones as this game is very unknown outside of said country for obvious reasons.) Somehow the existence of this shortcut slipped past a lot of people. Which is strange because the shortcut isn’t that hard to discover, or rather shouldn’t be. The trigger box for letting you know this shortcut exists is a bit out of the way of some obvious pathing and kind of small, but nothing too outlandish. Of all the surprise mechanics this LP uncovered, this is far from one of the more obscure ones, which I’m puzzled how this one went entirely unnoticed.

Oh and unlike the previous shortcut, the shortcut is placed in the same place you exit from, so there’s thankfully no mismatched spots this time.

What a waste of metal and circuitry.

Thankfully multiple Anti-Dragon PZs cannot join in on a battle with one of them in the battle already despite the countdown timers there. That would be certainly something to deal with.

Fortunately there’s a healing spring right here to keep us going and help us junk the last of the anti-dragon weaponry.

The last of the treasure in this area and it ain’t great.

With all traces of the Anti-Dragon PZs destroyed, let’s head down.

Oooh! This must be the deepest parts of the ruins! What could be so dangerous that they had to seal it off here?
Hee hee, guess we’re about to find out! A booby trap? Another giant robot? A super giant robot?
You two are far too excited about this.

Here’s a quick little stat checkup, because there’s a boss fight up ahead.

I assume that’s the robot Bassoon wanted us to get the core from?
Looks more advanced than the others. Let’s loot it!
Uh, looks like this one is still active. And pointing those guns at us.

Ohoho! So it won’t give it up without a fight? Then we’ll gladly give it one!

Video: Anti-Dragon Pza

Fascinating. It seems this may have been an advanced prototype.
Wait wait wait. If it’s a prototype, how does it make sense for the rest of those weapons worse than this thing?
There are several reasons. Budget cuts, or the creators discovering it being impractical to mass produce are possibilities. All of which falls under one singular reason, incompotence.

The “a” actually stands for alpha and the game uses that Greek character in the Japanese version.

The alpha version of the Anti-Dragon PZ is pretty similar to the other versions we’ve been fighting, though it’s stronger stat-wise, and takes less damage from Lightning attacks compared to its lesser models. Freeze Beam got an upgrade from 120 base damage to 150 base damage, though it still only targets the party members with the highest LIFE values. It also has the addition of Omnilaser, which it’s guaranteed to use every 5 turns. And it has a chance of using it once someone is Blinded or it reaches 25% LIFE. Aside from that it’s pretty similar to the PZ model.

Haru and Nila are setting up for now. As for what Dia is doing, Discord Song is great at inflicting Pain Counters for Masked Pain builds, so I’m going to have her and Ark contribute that so she can start spamming Triple Kiss.

Wait for it... wait for it...!

This is gonna be explosive!

Curse you.

Oh curse you for real!

Unfortunately it only has a 37% chance of working, so it’s not always gonna land.

Failure may be frustrating, but patience is key.

MY EYES!
I don’t need eyes for what I need to do.
Well this is quite a setback.
Missed me! ♪

Like with the Anti-Dragon PZ, it’ll always use Flash Ball on the 1st turn. Fortunately this isn’t much of a setback, but it can make things annoying.

Allow me to unleash my full power!

Let’s heat things up!

Ya take my eyes, I’ll gouge out yer... whatever ya see with.

I shall unleash what I have learned as well!

Gonna use EX to power up my party, as well as to stem the accuracy issues from Flash Ball. Though it won’t stem them entirely, as even with EX, Ark has a 63% of hitting and Haru has a 59% chance of landing a hit.

Here’s a sharp edge for ya!

Burst shot! Pew! Pew! Pew pew pew!

Nila has some great damage going on here. It would be better if she still had access to Lightning, but not that much better. As her damage would only go up to 1231 instead of 1396 due to the softcap mechanics.

Blade smash!

Still there’s some great damage coming from this party.

CURSE YOU!

“Full power”, huh?
Not much of it is in this body of yours, unfortunately.

Unlucky, that EX-boosted Discord Song had a 60% chance of working. Incidentally because the boss resistances generally share the same values most of the time, yes, you can poison the robots.

And like with the lesser model, it’s guaranteed to use 30mm Cannon on the 2nd turn as well. Past this point it randomizes its behavior, though it’ll always cast Omnilaser every 5 turns.

Wait, that’s not right.

As for why I swapped to Downstroke... I mistakenly thought at the time the Anti-Dragon PZa had no Lightning Weakness. That being said the damage difference between Thunder and Downstroke against a 125% Lightning damage multiplier isn’t all that much (187.5% vs. 180%), so it’s not that big of a damage loss.

Yeah, only 9 less points of damage compared to Thunder.

...As much as I am loathe to admit it, I sympathize with Edward and his failed attempts at poisoning our enemies.

Ouch. Failed basically 5 attempts at inflicting with Discord Song. That has a 10% chance of happening!

And my party’s taking quite the beating.

I opt to use a non EX-boosted Tarantella here since I’m so close to enabling Triple Kiss on Ark.

Bwahahaha! Allow the suffering to begin!
I did say some patience would pay off.

Not that I needed the Tarantella, as now I can really start inflicting the pain!

Unfortunately, Dia being Blind allowed it to get off an Omnilaser. Which hurts, but not that big a deal, as it’s about to go down.

Wanna see an EX-boosted Triple Kiss in action?

Gale attack! You never felt my shiv, did ya?

We’ll be taking that.

Overall not too bad of a boss fight. It’s basically a stronger Anti-Dragon PZ so if you can handle those, you can probably handle this thing.

Wh-what? That is not what the original Japanese game said. Allow me to transcribe it in the form of a less nonsensical sentence.

A lump of machinery fell from the wreckage of the defeated Anti-Dragon PZa.

The first sentence is obviously wrong, it’s supposed to say “The core obtained at Bassoon’s request.” Though the second sentence is correct.

Now don’t leave yet, there’s still a bit left to explore before we are truly done with this dungeon.

Our other reward for completing this quest is this treasure.

The Artemis is the 3rd strongest Bow in the game, coming with the attribute of making it so that regular attacks deal Fire damage instead of Thrust damage.

Are ya telling me I could have been shooting flaming arrows from a bow? Augh! I gave up my career in archery too soon!
The price you pay for being fickle, I suppose.

That being said it’s actually not stronger than Ark’s current Dagger. Remember, her current passives doubles the Dagger’s attack to 170. While the 54% damage boost from Bow Mastery would increase the Artemis to 169 attack power. Also Dagger Rogues have access to Triple Kiss where Bow Rogues are stuck with Dual Shot and worsening accuracy with each arrow shot.

Hmm... Mhmm... I think I get it! This is fascinating. It'll be excellent research material. Just you wait.

Bassoon walks off as the screen fades to black.

Your cruising speed should increase.
Oh my my! You fixed up our engine? That was definitely worth the trip!
Are ya sure this is safe?
Since you have already survived one accident... You should be able to keep cool if it fails on you.
Ya ain’t providing much confidence here old man.
As much as we appreciate the convenience, hopefully safe, why exactly did you help us? I thought you needed this core. Why are you giving it to us?
Ho ho ho... It seems useful on its own. But we'll see what other info I can get from it, eh?

His last sentence is translated vaguely. What he’s actually saying that he can’t do much with the core on his own, so our usage of it will provide him with testing data he can study.

So we’re your guinea pigs. As long as your modifications don’t blow up on us, I suppose we’ll both benefit. What exactly are you researching?

As I said before, within Northern Pesta are ruins of the old world. But what's inside is dangerous, so Pleroma has closed the site.

Yeah we noticed. What’s up with that?
That is the original state of Northern Pesta. In order to learn more about our world, we need to delve deeper. Ho ho ho! I just want to figure this out before I die. Anyway, I thank you for cooperating with me.
Ah, I see. Well I hope your discoveries are fruitful. And thank you for tweaking our airship’s cruising speed.

A very worthwhile reward, and it’s absolutely worth doing this quest as soon as you can.

Oooh, I can’t wait! Shall we take it for a spin?
YEAH! Let’s see how much faster this baby can go!

WOOOO! Now that’s more like it!
That Bassoon works miracles! We can zip around the world in no time like this!
Ha ha, I could get used to this!

The airship can now go faster by holding down the run button, B. Now it moves at the same speed as our party running speed, making the airship far more usable. I absolutely recommend taking this quest on as soon as possible for that very reason. You’re going to be traveling all over the place if you decide to take on the rest of the side content for this game, so you might as well make your own life easier on that front first.

A nice monetary reward, but the other rewards snagged from this quest were the real ones.

Real peachy now that you made our airship move a lot faster. That thing moved like a snail before.
I must admit, that was some impressive handiwork you’ve done with it.
It works like a dream! Research all you want, you’ve definitely earned it!
Shall we take it for another go? Moving around the world should be far more convenient with it now.

If you head back to Bassoon after turning in the quest, this is what he has to say.

Now the airship sprint upgrade doesn’t unlock anything new, but actually being able to use it without that annoyance is very nice. There’s a bit more side content I wish to cover first before we head out to investigate Tokyon, so let’s get that done in the next few updates.
