: I thought I did pretty well, thank you very much.

Cia is a much better unit than Brooke, so this support is unintentionally hilarious.

: Mmm, pretty well is not perfect. You have too much potential as a fighter to perform only pretty well.

: I think you mean that as a compliment, and it sounds like one, but it really doesn't feel like one.

: I don't intend to flatter you. You're raw, and you have a lot to learn. It annoys me to see you make easily correctable mistakes. Help me help you to fix them.

: Cia, stop for just one second with the deflection. There is a great deal that I can teach you. If you want to stay alive during these dangerous times, you'd be a fool to turn me down.

: ... rrrgh. Fine. I want to learn. I promise to be a good little princess and act studious for you.

: You've read me wrong if you think I want you to act studious. I've slain hundreds, Cia. I barely know how to read. I am a potent weapon, but I know my strengths as well as my weaknesses.

: I worked as an assassin for the entirety of my youth, and then some. If you agree to let me train you, you are understanding that I know how to kill, and will not seek to teach otherwise.

I'm convinced Cia only acts dumb to get others to let their guard down. Yes, she's introduced signing up for the army on a whim, but the game also makes it clear she cares about her hometown and she only signs on when Lincoln starts yelling about conscription.

: Alright, fine, my master taught me in many capacities, including more studious things.

: Hah! I-

: Don't get started with me. I am trying to help you understand that what I teach is not pleasant. It isn't happy-go-lucky barmaid business.

: I don't think you look dumb in the slightest. I think you're much smarter than you give yourself credit for. Let's get started, then.

: Your fighting technique sucked!

: I dunno, I got MVP last fight and TheGreatEvilKing won't shut up about how awesome I am.

: Yes, but you could be perfect. Like me, a mediocre unit destined for the bench.

: Are we really doing this shit?

: I see much potential in you, but you're not nearly edgelordy enough to be a perfect assassin. Now I'm gonna browbeat you into it, because I'm a professional assassin who's killed hundreds of people in knife fights.

: Fiiiiiine. I'll study and do all that boring shit.

: Don't misunderstand me. I'm going to teach you the art of killing I learned from my master, xxSephiroth_420_69xx. I can't read, but I can kill people.

: I saw you reading a big book the other day, and just think it didn't have any illustrations!

: Fine, you caught me. But no happy go lucky shit! This is serious Edgelord Assassin training! I am teaching you how to kill people, you, a soldier in an army!

: I'm not dumb, you know.

: I know. Let the Rites of Edge commence!
