Okay, after cracking the world wide open over the course of a single update, my first destination for this one is... here. Mostly because it's the first place I found in this region.

Never mind, I guess I'm not going here yet.

Maybe the "town" next door will be more... enterable?

Nope. Oddly appropriate that Phoebe's house has a box of arrows in it, though...

Off to this battlefield; wonder what it's got. ...gonna take a while, though, with that many fights.

Nothing, really. For the record, I've tentatively identified this battlefield as the one to the left of Bone Dungeon in vanilla; that's the only one I can think of that has Poison Toads while also having this background.

Off to another slog of a battlefield, hopefully without Windia enemies or worthless rewards.

...Ambushing me with these guys is just cheating. Damn you, Murphy.

That battlefield was hell (turns out the black slimes have Quake Axe, yet another on the list of enemies with last boss attacks), but at least I got an accessory from it.

After a trip back to the inn I know about (I exhausted my Wizard spells twice on that hellhole), off to the next location. I'm not too worried about this; considering that gigantic dungeon I still haven't managed to fully explore, there can't be much tower left to go into the tower.

There is, however, plenty of Lava Dome left.

This is significantly higher-density than expected.

And ludicrously higher-value.

Even if nothing here is strictly required.

Nothing to see here. Downstairs I go.

Here's the other end of one of the teleporters I've found, I'm pretty sure.

Nothing left to do there, so on to the next area!

Back to here, I see.

I now have enough bombs. Does that make me Bomberman?

Oh, hey, my first hard-required boss fight! ...I'll get back to this.

Next room in that hallway takes me here.

Sweet, easily-farmable Seeds! I've been needing those!

And finally, the last door in that entry hall takes me to one of the staircases from Pazuzu; there're a bunch of the things so they had to show up sometime.

They take me to some guy's attic. This'll make my next dive into those ridiculously-long dungeons a lot more convenient, and it'll also let me explore the Giant Tree (and any other pitfalls I come across) without concern.

After taking a moment to farm up to 15 Seeds, I head off to the boss. Flamerus is a non-issue after what I've been through to get here.

At least the rewards are worth bothering. Or, well, at least the helmet is.

Next.

Well, this one looks simple enough to clear.

This is actually kind of appropriate, given the location.

I double-checked to make sure, and there was nothing else in that section of the Tree. Might as well take a peek at what happened to the Volcano location as a preview.

Huh. Up to two locations that start as exactly what they say they are. We'll see how long that lasts next time.
