Okay, misting up the center of the big clock's ceiling nets me the Spike Breaker. Yes, it works as advertised, hence why it appeared in what is normally a relic location.

Bit weak, but I doubt I'd ever remember I have it if I don't put it on now, so on it goes.

I also find more Lightning Mail, a Manna Prism, and a Heart Max Up across from the Spike Breaker; none of it's critical, it's questionable whether I'll even use any of it, but the Prism's at least interesting.

You remember that place where I said I could get stuff by super-jumping up a hole in the ceiling? It's directly below the Librarian. As proven by the fact that Alucard's currently wearing him as a hat.

Pretty sure the first time's guaranteed to be a HP boost; the others are random drops if you continue jumping into him. I only have the patience (and, semi-coincidentally, MP) to get a second Topaz Circlet out of him before leaving to continue my Mist-enabled checks.

I have no idea if it's the armor or the Flea Man wearing it that dropped this, but it's still welcome because it's the strongest healing item in the game and there's a non-zero probability I'll need it.

Lesser Demons like this miniboss appear as generic enemies later, but I stall with this one just because it summons Mudmen, which don't appear anywhere else in the game.

That one's only otherwise notable for being directly in the way of a few checks down here: Two statues, both containing consumables in this seed...

...a third consumable in the jar behind them, and the Soul of Wolf relic (transform into a wolf) behind the grate; I put this section off last time I was in the Library because I didn't have Mist yet so I couldn't get the relic.

On my way back out I get a drop that's definitely from the Flea Armor rather than the Flea Man inside it: This Morning Star, which hits hard but doesn't compare to the rapid-fire capability my Gladius gives me. How do I know it's from the Armor? Simple: I picked this up before managing to kill the Flea Man.

Speaking of Flea Men, though, one of them also dropped Fury Plate (which might actually be Alucard Mail).

Off to deal with Olrox! Or Clorox, if you feel like mocking him...

And the onslaught of junk food continues. Again I find myself wondering who here has a sweet tooth.

Anyway, after spending basically all my MP going up that shaft, I find a Heart Max Up tucked in a corner.

More Silver Plate right outside the boss room; all I need to do to reach Olrox is transform my way through that gap above me- any transformation will do, assuming you can get up here in the first place.

That guy sitting at the table? Yup, that's Olrox.

He's got two forms. Predictably, they both die extremely quickly to my disguised Crissaegrim.

He's guarding another familiar card: the Ghost. Meh. It doesn't give me anything special, so I doubt I'll ever even bother summoning it.

At the end of a hallway on the right side of the room directly below that Heart Max Up I found earlier, I find... well, it says it's a Heart Broach, but apparently it's actually vendor trash- a Diamond, at a guess.

A Valhalla Knight (remember the guys riding half-horses I mentioned back in my failed PoR run? Them.) drops a Pizza. I suppose it's technically healthier than all the sweets I've been picking up?

Exiting that room to the left... why do I still bother screenshotting weapon stats? I've already got the only weapon I'll ever need.

Breaking a ceiling nets me the Jewel of Open. This unlocks... basically everything I didn't already have unlocked around here, come to think of it. I mean there's like, one check that's still inaccessible by this point?

First off, though, I'll head to the Royal Chapel. Through the back door, naturally; I'd need to go all the way around to the Alchemy Lab to use the front door, and the back's in Olrox's Quarters, so why would I use any other route?

Speaking of backdoors, the second screenshot here is the other end of that door back in the Colosseum that I mentioned as my first access to a new area. That's still true even if I never actually used that door that way, because it was the earliest way I could've gotten here.

Buff potion. Meh.

Got a Heart Max Up (not pictured because my keyboard's a POS and I haven't had a chance to replace it yet) and another throwing weapon on a staircase down to the "proper" entrance. Also not pictured: A Corner Guard dropped another Iron Ball.

The Talisman I also found there would've been useful if it was anything but more vendor trash.

Further smashables in this staircase yield another Heart Max Up (still not pictured due to keyboard malfunctions) and another Talisman.

More food, and a weapon which I won't bother checking because at this point there's no point. I mean, there's something like one weapon that could even hypothetically be a sidegrade to what I've already got.

More buff potion. More meh.

Quick side-trip to the Alchemy Lab just to add the missing bits to my map...

...before I finish this update. I'll finish up the Chapel next time, then head underground.
