The rotating bookshelf room has an Iron Ball and a Wizard Hat. Now if I just had a robe of some kind I could fulfill the meme...

Nothing else back here but a Meal Ticket.

Back to the Wall. My suspicions of somebody here having a sweet tooth continue to be fed.

The Creature is... rather different from his other depictions in this series here. Bigger and hammer-ier. Doesn't mean he's a threat to me, though; double Crissaegrim rips through everything in seconds.

He drops the Bat Card. I was hoping for Leap Stone...

HP boost heading up from there towards the Black Gallery (the only upside-down castle location I remember the name of offhand, counterpart to the Marble Gallery), quickly followed by a throwable right outside the door.

Near as I can tell, the elevator here doesn't work either. Might've just not been patient enough, though.

A healthier sweet tooth indulgence: Nova Skeletons drop Pineapples.

The room that the elevator would've put me in if it existed has a hat and a HP boost. Specifically, the joke hat the DK ancestors dropped that one time that I could never convince them to drop again.

And an inexplicable Hammer to close out the Wall. In we go now.

I'm not sure I want to know what's in this bun, given how it dropped from a Corpseweed...

Gonna head up here, but first I'd like to mention the Zelda-style traps on the floor in this area. Assume I'm doing a lot of flying around here, because I can't double-jump yet (where the hell are you Leap Stone) and those things hurt.

Power of Sire would be more important with a certain accessory I still don't have yet.

The trapdoor-button room has nothing but a buff potion when it's upside-down. Meh.

Up to the upside-down basement now.

Renamed vendor trash and buff potion. I care about neither of those.

Oh joy, more hearts for me to never use.

For the record, I'll check the upside-down Succubus section on my way out, assuming I remember; that'll probably take an update or two though, since there're two more areas up here.

There's another Doppelganger in the Scylla Wyrm room; he's stubborn, but not remotely a threat to me because I can just stunlock him with my Crissaegrims.

Spare renamed Dark Shield.

That's a lot of calamari. There's a smashable with a HP boost to the left, but I fail to screenshot it because Swordo decided to break it for me while I was standing directly under it.

Finally, Leap Stone! As I said before in my failed PoR run, double-jumps are incredibly handy even if you've already got the super-jump; hell, they're even useful when you can fly!

And on the way out one of the roughly-a-hundred Dark Octopi in this room drops a hat I've already got.

Random stuff lying around in the upside-down version of the room I used the Merman Statue in.

And one of the Cave Trolls (which are thankfully much less dangerous in SotN than PoR, largely because they don't do 200 damage per hit here) drops an Alucart Sword which I still don't really care what it is because Crissaegrims. And a Library Card just before leaving the room.

Nothing here, off to the next save point!

Gonna be honest with you: I've got no idea what these're supposed to taste like.

Second one's a Heart Max; it didn't occur to me that you wouldn't be able to see the text until I'd already picked it up.

Gaibons and Slogras spawn as trash mobs up here, though I don't think they ever show up together outside that one room way back at the beginning where they were a boss.

Anyway, gonna do this area next time. Given the area, I don't think it's a spoiler to say that the first thing I'm gonna do next update is kill a boss.
