Hiya Death. Time to pay you back for mugging me at the beginning.

Two phases.

...It must be pretty embarrassing for him to be finished off by the Sword Familiar.

Don't see any particular need for Power of Wolf at this point, but I'll take it anyway.

The switch here needs to be poked by a familiar again (and he will comment on this); here it just leads to a Javelin and a Mablung Sword (which is still assuredly inferior to Double Crissaegrim because Double Crissaegrim is pretty much the best offense you can possibly have).

Well, this (found in the room across from the local warp point) makes a nice change from all the pastries I keep finding.

I also got a couple Smart Potions from Thornweeds, but I don't care enough to screenshot that.

Miscellaneous useless crap lying around on the way up to the next area.

And a little more in a side room.

Meal Ticket behind the first save point in the next area.

See that witch (called Salome in SotN) over there? They are literally the only source of Cat damage in the entire game.

Here again. I doubt it'll be more lucrative than the first time... not that I remember offhand what I found there, but still.

Buffalo Star, Ankh of Life, HP boost, and Alucart Sword in the smashables, with another Ankh directly above them.

And, as predicted, useless crap at the end of this branch.

On the way to the local boss...

...I find more stuff: that Talisman, a Namakura, a Strength Potion (meh), and more hearts (whatever).

The Mirror Cuirass behind the local boss save point isn't too bad. Might use it when I'm done with the Spike Breaker (though by that point I'll probably be pretty much done with petrifying enemies so I'll probably pick something with more defense instead).

Galamoth has absurd durability, but is easily stunlocked even if you don't have Crissaegrim. Just... try not to get hit.

As for what he's guarding: Hide Cuirass, Axe Lord Armor, a Toadstool, and the Demon Card (which is, for all practical purposes, identical to the Nose Demon familiar I've already got, which is probably why Nosey got taken out of the vanilla version).

Before I forget: Succubus section. First smashable has a Magic Missile (worthless), second set has a Shuriken, a Ring of Varda, a Dracula Tunic, an Opal, and a Mace. The Succubus room, incidentally, is empty.

Monster Vial 3 before the waterfall, boring consumable after.

And a couple worthless weapons at the waterfall. Which, since this castle is upside-down, falls up.

I think I'm past needing shields by now, don't you?

Well that's a disappointing item to find to finish this area out...

Also, the Cave Trolls drop another Alucart Sword and two Library Cards on the way here, and another of each on the way out, but that's all irrelevant because I have no reason to go back to the Librarian or use any non-Crissaegrim weapons.

Buffalo Star just before the entrance door.

Since I'm in the area, might as well do the secret room again. Another Karma Coin in the process of opening it, and a Heart Max, vendor trash, and Grape Juice inside it.

A disappointing last find for the update.

I'll get to work on the right side of the Reverse Castle next time. Shouldn't take too long at my current pace.
