...Must be his ceremonial one instead of the one he wears into battle.

Snowballs are not efficient weapons. Ironic, from a flaming wheel.

It also drops the Treant soul in ring form, though.

This gives me the ability to check one of the UMA souls, if I can find the right room.

Well, the animation makes sense; rapiers are, in fact, intended for thrusting. Judging from the element, though, this is a competition rapier. Or training rapier; whatever you'd use a sword with no edge for.

...Well that was anticlimactic. Just stood there and swung Claimh at this guy a few times, and he just fell apart.

His soul looks useful, though. Still prefer Malachi, but this is a good backup.

...Backtracked to the Chapel, broke through the clown wall, and there's not even anything here.

Hammer shop update: Melon, Hot Dog, Spoiled Milk, another newspaper clipping, Short Sword, Final Sword, Mach Punch, Kung Fu Suit, Breastplate, Crimson Cloak.

Also, Hammer's creepy in this game. I preferred him back when he didn't bring up that crush on a woman half his apparent age every other conversation.

At this point I can either go up, to the Clock Tower and subsequently the Pinnacle, or down, to Subterranean Hell. For now I'm going down, for absolutely no reason.

Ukobacks give more copies of Holy Flame, and more maps. So basically nothing.

Frozen Shades, meanwhile, drop a soul that is kind of counterproductive, in my book.

Normally I'd give these separate screenshots, but if the Mermen are gonna drop their item and their soul at the same time why waste space?

Anyway, Ice Cream and more Gaibon souls.

...I am not impressed.

Not impressed with these Bone Arks' soul either. It is convenient that all three parts can drop them separately, though.

Well, if the pirates are dead they couldn't've been very good at it, right?

...Yes, I know, time, stop nitpicking my jokes.

...Well, bones are associated with pirates due to the stereotypical flag, so this makes at least a tiny bit of sense if you squint.

Fancy clothes do have a tendency to be impractical, so this fits. Water damage has a non-zero chance of being involved in this particular instance, though.

Apparently, no, Needles are not plants; they're sea urchins. Makes sense- they do resemble them. What they want with vacuum cleaners is another question entirely.

I suppose it's a good thing Killer Fish don't drop any food this seed, considering how they're infested with parasites.

Alura Une makes excellent kindling, apparently.

Found a carnival game, and wound up heading back to Yoko and Hammer to make a Mjollnir to clear it. This isn't randomized, for the record. Probably because of the possibility that Mjollnir doesn't even exist in any given seed.

Another ironic soul: Procel (demonically-animated water) gives a fire soul.

Nothing wrong with a good pie. Wonder where they get the pumpkins, though...

What did they make the chains out of, daisies?

You wouldn't expect this to come from Fish Heads, would you?

Extremely soggy newspaper clipping down here.

I am happy about the Hippogryph, though; means I only need to switch to Bat Company to cram myself through narrow gaps. Also unlocks a check back in the Chapel, though I doubt I'll find anything important over there.

And finishing up this side of the area with some extremely waterlogged pasta.

Unless you count monster souls, in which case a starfish (Decarabia) gives me the Sword Familiar.

There's also a boss here, but Rahab's nothing when you already have his soul.

Speaking of which...

Cave Trolls (which are technically Chupacabras) are nowhere near as much of a hassle when their stats aren't inflated to about 10x what they should be. Don't ask why they have axes, though.

Anyway, update over.
