So I started in Ocarina. Not much to check here, but I can get the forest target and the first skull check. Following the trend thus far, both are for MM (and while that fairy earlier didn't come with a bottle, this potion does).

Back to Majora, because I still don't have anything to do in Ocarina.

Another skull could be useful, since I checked the rewards while I was picking up that bottle earlier and I could potentially need up to 40 of them, and a horse will unlock checks for later... y'know, when I actually manage to find those stupid ocarinas.

I'll be spending a significant percentage of this update just cleaning up Termina Field. (For the record, the picture on the right is me checking the telescope, after going back through the sewer.)

I suppose I was running a bit low on cash after all the shopping I did when I came to Majora... just wish it was easier to find the "you can climb this pillar HERE" texture so I could get in here.

Since it took me until night to find that climbable side (I can be dense sometimes), I take the opportunity to pester the musician at the pond a bit. ...I hate MM's scheduling; why did I decide it would be a good idea to play a randomizer for it?!

Off to Ikana for a bit, I guess. It's only one check in logic, but that's one more check than I had before, right?

...Tracker isn't much help when it won't let me set the parameters properly so I can actually see what's really in logic (my workaround of lying about my lack of ocarina is giving a lot of false positives). Or show me stuff that only needs explosives when I've got bombchus but not bombs.

...Milk Road Tingle isn't impressive, but at least he's not worthless.

At least his Swamp location has something interesting. Though once again I am frustrated by my lack of ocarinas.

Climbing the tree (much easier without any monsters to interfere) opens something over in Shadow Temple, but A: where is it? and B: where do I find the stuff I need to actually do stuff there?

The nearby hole has another skull, but more importantly it has Deku Babas, from which I can farm Sticks to let me check the owl statues!

So I backtrack to get the statues from Clock Town and Milk Road before going any further into the swamp. There's that required item on Milk Road I've been getting hints about!

The local owl gives more money (turns out silver rupees work different in MM), and the scrub is a racist. What if I want to buy stuff as a Hylian, huh?!

The Witch Shop. Yes, I customized literally every outfit's color, right down to changing colors with my species.

I need a mushroom for that statue, but the other things are fair game.

Missed a check for the cycle, so I reset, and decided to deposit some cash while I was on my way back to the swamp to do it properly. Boss key!

Anyway, doing that check properly this time gets me another skull.

And after delivering the potion I got way back when to the lost witch this time, I take a side-trip to pick up a mushroom so I can buy the Woodfall Owl Statue.

And, of course, I check the now-healed witch herself for... oh hey, I think I finally have my fourth heart in OoT!

...Huh. Wasn't sure it'd let me check Soaring without an ocarina.

Anyway, stealth sequences are very much not my forte, so I'll put the palace infiltration off for a bit in favor of the scrub minigame, day 2. Incidentally, I would like to vehemently complain about the very concept of "moving targets" in a platforming minigame running on a Zelda engine... calling it "janky" is an understatement. I have been spending IRL hours on this crap every time I do a Majora minigame.

After finally clearing that BS in time (and putting my absurdly-hard-won prize money in the bank while I'm in the area), I check the hole in the forest that's only available on day 2.

Y'know what, after all that I think I deserve to do something a little more... possible. Like OoT.

It hasn't been relevant before, but I've got all the Timeless Item options enabled, which means I can hookshot some spiders I should be boomerang'ing. Like the one at the Gerudo Valley entrance, and the one on the back of the lake lab.

As well as a couple more at the ranch.

...I already have all the OoT shields and I have yet to find a single sword of any description. WTF.

And finally, one in Kak Graveyard and one in the Zora Fountain.

...This seed hates me. The entirety of OoT is STILL locked behind MM. I WANT TO NOT PLAY MM ALREADY!!!

Well, might as well do some easy checks for a change. Couple's Mask turn-in first, then Kafei's mother.

Not lucrative, so off to bash my metaphorical head against the stealth section until something gives.

...oh, right, Stone Mask. I never remember that. Never mind, I have invisibility! That makes this so much easier!

Wasn't anything there, but I did stumble across my next check on my way out. Literally- I was trying to get to the swamp exit and wound up falling in a hole.

At this point I have nothing better to do than mow the lawn outside town to pad my bank account.

Only useful prize is Morpha since the fish doesn't come with a bottle (I checked while getting the next screenshot), though at least he's sticking to a theme, right?

And finally, we have the last bit of this particular layer of hell: Deku jumping minigame, day 3.

On the one hand: I never need to go here again! On the other hand, it's worthless. ...End result:

I've still got some time left to do checks even if it's day 3, so off to the Snowhead region for another owl.

And then back to Clock Town to pick up the stuff I missed in front of the Skull Kid room. I'm pretty sure that there is literally nothing else for me to do right now except wait for the clock to open.

...sorry for the fat guy taking up the second screenshot. I didn't realize he was there until I finished the session, and this took way too much effort to redo it.

Before checking Skull Kid I should probably buy the black market item. If I don't do it now it'll take an entire cycle for it to open up again.

...Seriously?! This is probably the single worst possible place for this!

It's only possible because there's a setting to make the moon fall start a new cycle, but that was NOT an invitation to screw me over like this!

...Screw it, it's time to end the update anyway. Thankfully I actually got some progression finally, so I should be able to do stuff in OoT. ...though I have a sinking feeling that it'll somehow finagle a way to force me to stay in MM even longer anyway.

I might need a day or two to cool off after the immense amount of BS I was put through this update.
