Okay, back from my temporary rage-quit. I got the Ocarina (albeit not the titular one), so time to do stuff in OoT! Hopefully without it being yet another tease before railroading me right back into MM yet again... I've already been there too long, I really need to actually switch between games instead of having an entire game locked behind the worst possi- y'know what, I'll stop there before I get myself worked up again.

So! Back on topic: Kokiri Storms hole! And SKid!

The hole north of Kak's entrance I could've gotten earlier, but it really wasn't worth doing it alone. The Castle Storms one, though, is new.

That reminds me: I should go pick up Sun's Song from the spider guys. Which, conveniently enough, unlocks a check in the graveyard which turns out to be a Bomb Bag. That'll make blowing things up a bit more convenient, even if it isn't strictly necessary.

Also convenient is that Sun makes getting into the castle a lot faster, since I don't need to wait for the drawbridge anymore.

Storms at the start of Zora River gives progress toward making my OoT health suck less and somewhere to replace one of my shields in case it gets destroyed somewhere.

And, since I'm already here, play the songs I've found thus far for the frogs.

I forgot that I need to find Sheik (who is, for purposes of this randomizer, a separate character from Zelda) to do the Requiem check, but since I have Requiem I can at least see what dungeon's at the Spirit entrance. I... think I might be able to do this one? If nothing else, there is, at least, stuff for me to check here, which gives me an excuse to put all that MM crap off.

Respectively the left and right false walls in the central square hallway.

And the bombable garbage at said square hallway's entrance.

Followed by the similar offal in the corner past the false floor. Gotta say, Bombchus make pretty good impromptu scouts here for when you haven't memorized the floor and don't have the Lens to actually see it.

Check the cages real quick...

...before heading off to practice my Lara Croft impression.

Only checks left that I can reach are in the basement. Gotta admit, I got excited for a second when I saw the name. Frickin' tease.

Of course, since this is Silver Shuffle the rupees down here are checks too. Thankfully, one of them is progression for OoT- I can't empty Ruto's bottle without King Mweep, so this fairy (or more accurately, the bottle she came in) is required for me to exhume the Bean Spiders, and it'll also let me check which dungeon Jabu is.

These aren't very useful to me. I mean, I already have the shield, and part of the reason I bottle fairies is because I never remember I have potions.

...Well there are like a hundred of them in OoT alone, so it makes sense that I'd run into them all over the place.

...Huh. Vanilla Jabu. Didn't see that coming.

Gee, thanks, spider, now I have to empty my bottle again.

...How did a Business Scrub get in here, anyway, and why doesn't he cause Jabu unbearable agony by burrowing into him? ...Questions for someone else.

...I'd complain about getting even more MM stuff, but this is some really important progression here. Better to get it now than never.

Anyway, that was all the checks I can do in Jabu, so off to do the bug- wait, is that a sword?! Hallelujah, they do exist!

My routing may give a speedrunner an aneurysm, but I'm the kind of perfectionist who insists on having every check done, and that Poe Scrub is really bothering me so I'm saving it for last.

Also saved for later: Well entrance check.

Anyway, there's one bug check I don't have access to yet (since I don't know Bolero), but 8 checks is still a lot.

And that's it for this bugging session. Gonna need to catch one more bug for later, but other than that I can do whatever I want with my bottle!

Also, I can clear the Deku Tree whenever I manage to find it (well, unless the trash mobs hold me up); that's good news too.

Since I'm in the Lost Woods anyway, might as well do that memory minigame. Least it's easier than the garbage MM throws around.

Y'know how I said I'd check the well later? It's later. ...I know that child dungeons are kind of a minority, but I'm still a little annoyed by this being here.

Anyway, I do a check here real quick, then bail. Not much else I can do here without a hammer or the red shirt (or... whatever color I made it- I forget).

Finally, the Storms hole just outside Goron City has the other Mirror Shield. Never gonna need to worry about Like Likes over there, I guess.

Did I say "finally?" ...I guess it's "finally" in the context of Ocarina checks, at least. Anyway, might as well head back into Forest for a bit to kill the lobby spider. NOW I'm done here.

My most optimistic guess turned out to be correct: I did, indeed, manage to spend an entire update in OoT. These updates go so much faster when the game isn't fighting me every step of the way with impossible minigames and forced waiting. Think next time I'll go swimming in MM...
