Odds are I'll be spending most of this update as a Zora, since it unlocked about as many checks as the Ocarina did. Oh, and this is that chest at the bottom of the pond in Termina Field.

Swamp archery is nothing. Coulda done this before, technically, but I'd already done more than enough minigame BS and I really didn't want to do bow stuff until I'd had a break (which my ability to do stuff in OoT conveniently gave me).

...Oh right, I need Epona to actually go west, and to get Epona I need a Majora ocarina. Inability to turn off the Song of Time requirement in the tracker is really throwing me off.

...how the hell am I supposed to do this seed? There's almost nothing even in logic!

Boss keys aren't any help right now. Though at least I know where this dungeon is.

Finding the invisible box proves that dungeon prizes are fully random, though. Oh joy...

Maybe the mugged woman in Clock Town has something? That's basically the only thing in logic right now. Which once again means that I am forced to waste time waiting for MM's schedule to deign to give me a check. Instead of, y'know, actually doing checks like a sane randomizer.

...Well that's completely worthless. But she does unlock a check in a shop later, right?

Got plenty of time to kill, so might as well pass time productively by raiding the Swamp Skull House, right?

Some of them are even vanilla.

...I'm pretty sure this mask doesn't actually turn you into a Zora in OoT, even in this combo randomizer. Which begs the question of why I'd even want it.

...Dammit, I forgot to bring bugs.

Oh well, not like they're hard to find. Time-consuming, maybe, but when you're already waiting for something to happen that's no big loss.

And sometimes you just wanna go somewhere with really high check density, like this.

...Is it weird that I prefer Ruto to Zelda and Malon?

Yes, I did start talking about random irrelevant things out of sheer lack of anything else to say.

There are, after all, only so many ways you can say "and then I killed another Skulltula and picked up its drop."

Ooh, nice, that'll give me access to the Water Temple entrance! ...depending on whether I can open it as a child, at least.

I've never been fond of breakable weapons, personally. In any game, really.

Turns out instead of swimming, I'm spending most of this update playing exterminator.

...oh, you sneaky little bastards...

Ram the tree real quick to knock the bugs out, and...

...done until I get a Majora sword.

Lots of progression in there!

Since I'm save-warping anyway, might as well make side-trips to do the Zora Letter and 30 Skulls checks.

Also, Water's vanilla. Turns out I can, in fact, open it as a child. Don't have time to do any checks even if I have the capability, though.

Just so this isn't completely devoid of checks, I take another side-trip to check the Tektite hole.

...oh no. That thing I bought was the Big Bomb Bag check. That means I need to wait until moonfall AGAIN.

Okay, setting that crisis aside for the moment, there's still this thing that I can check.

Ugh. On the one hand, needing to wait for this shop to open twice is horrendously tedious. On the other, I'm basically out of checks in MM, so I should be able to actually accomplish something in OoT now, right? Well, unless this seed's completely broken as opposed to just horrible.

We'll find out next time, I guess. I've actually got dungeons to dive into now! Possibly even plural! And bizarrely enough for the trends thus far, I'm actually out of Majora checks for the moment.

...And yes, I have 10 hearts in MM and only 4 in OoT; checks have been incredibly skewed so far, as you have undoubtedly noticed. And no, Zora mask does nothing in OoT; I tested.
