Kinda hard to navigate Water Temple when most of the mechanics don't seem to work as a child, but that doesn't make it devoid of checks; it's just awkward getting to them, and like half of them aren't even there because of the souls.

At least I can reach the Compass check, as proven here.

Oh, hey, finally have more than 4 hearts in OoT! It's only like 5 updates after I hit that mark in MM, and it's all from Heart Pieces.

Everything else in there is enemy and/or Lullaby locked, so take a quick dive in the lab to whack a spider.

...Forest, maybe? Took some Hover + Bunny shenanigans to get to those pillars so I could kill this spider, but who cares.

...Too bad the island chest is an OoT sword; a MM sword would be pretty damn handy.

Vanilla skull, and a bit of Longshot shenanigans let me dive into the well for even more MM health. As if I really need it...

...This is gonna be another case of progression being locked behind the stupidest possible check, isn't it?

Barinade skull (acquired via more hovering shenanigans) is nothing, and there's nothing else I can do here until I get the boomerang and some monsters.

I even resort to the Fire Temple. Presumably not what I'm supposed to do, but at least I get something vaguely useful. I mean, there're doors that I need to kill Beamos to open somewhere, right?

...No, it isn't the only check I had available in MM on the last night (i.e. raiding the staff room; yes, I went back to OoT before the actual fall). Might be useful later on, depending on what the Ocean Skull reward is, but right now I'll just call it "nothing."

Oh, wait, I can steal Epona (back?) since the sisters aren't there. That lets me do a couple checks over to the west, for what little good they do.

...This is a horrible spot to find this. Not least of which because it took me half the time I had left to find the place.

I do get another Woodfall Fairy from the nearby owl, though, so there's that.

Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to farm up the money to buy that ocarina, so it looks like I'll need to go a third cycle to get it. Might as well commit identity theft to pass the time, right?

Also, there's the postman's BS frame-perfect timing thing. Other than those, though? I've got nothing to do but waste time until that road worker finally breaks the boulder blocking Romani... in other words, day 3 again. Technically there's a minigame I could play, but if I don't have the prerequisites to get all the rewards I'm not gonna bother unless it is literally the last check available to me.

Oh, and when it finally deigns to be Day 3, there're a couple checks at Romani I can do. One's technically Mask of Truth locked, but I can hypothetically brute-force it; not gonna put myself through that aggravation either, though. Not when there's an easier way to do it (that presumably isn't locked behind brute-forcing it). So I just grab the box lying around, and then re-steal Epona to go buy that stupid Ocarina (and the Ocean skull too) finally.

That, in turn, means I can A: go to the west at will, and B: do a bunch of other checks on top of that- like, at least as many as the other ocarina.

Since I'm already in the Zora Hall, though, might as well start here.

...If I could've found this chest I could've had the Ocarina without wasting an entire cycle.

Climb the walls for a mask. Y'know, for a game about masks, I'm a little short on them.

Last Tingle check. Don't know if this is necessary, but I'm gonna grab it.

I bottled a fish for this?

I wish I had Soaring...

Anyway, that's just about everything I can do over here for now; off to do something else!

Specifically, check the monkey song; I have just enough time to get there this cycle.

New cycle, continuing the Ocarina checks... worst race prize ever.

No, I'm not racing the beavers this update; I don't have time or patience for that crap (which will undoubtedly be yet another hours-long grinding session to force it to not screw me over long enough to get the checks; at least the horse race is easy).

Gonna spend the rest of the update raiding the Gerudo pirates. As opposed to the Gerudo bandits. Well, whatever- semantics. Important thing here is that I can actually do stuff in Forest Temple now.

Also, these things are ubiquitous.

As are these. I now have eleven hearts in MM. WTF.

...Okay, seriously, how many of these are even left?!

This is why you fumigate, ladies and gentlemen. If you don't, someone's gonna break into your house, drop a beehive on your head, and rob you blind.

Horse for OoT, whenever I get to be an adult over there.

Well, looks like I'm racing beavers next time. Doesn't look like I have any other checks anywhere. Definitely not enough to do a full update without those pests.

...As I'm sure you've noticed by now, this seed is evil.
