Okay, so I unlocked a few new checks near the end of the last update. Whatever, gonna do the beavers now anyway, just to get them out of the way. I wish you could just kill these damn beavers and be done with it... I mean, it's not as hard-for-all-the-wrong-reasons as the Deku minigame, but it's still tedious and left my thumb cramped afterwards.

Oh, and since I actually bothered to make the Scarecrow's Song this time, I can go do a hole up on Snowhead (and farm up some sticks while I'm in there- always nice to have a few on hand, especially when you don't have a sword yet).

And then finish up the Ocarina checks on this side for now in the Ikana Graveyard and Zora Cape (which required backtracking because my tracker doesn't get the concept of "logical Bombchus").

Since I'm in the area, I should probably raid the local spider den, shouldn't I?

Who knows, I might find a sword in here.

I'll definitely unlock new checks, at the very least. Kinda hard not to with this much density.

And, of course, there are also skulls to collect, because with that many in the pool there's no way they won't find their way into high-density areas.

Also, useless stuff.

Because everything winds up in high-density areas.

And MM skulls are high-density areas when you've got skull shuffle on.

Ooh, that's new. Nice, now I won't be quite so squishy in OoT!

Well, I've unlocked nuisances.

I've also run out of things to say.

Not quite out of checks here though.

...I hate these things. I mean, they're not bad if you're paying attention, it's just the need to pay attention that gets to me.

Getting close to finishing, at least. And brute-forcing the colored masks here gets me another boss prize.

Just one more room...

And I'm done here. Now I just need to figure out how to leave...

Turns out the only way to leave without Goron is moonfall. Oh, well. One last hole, and I'm done with MM for now. Finally!

After farming up some MM sticks again, time to go shopping in OoT for a change. I would like to remind you that this is only the second OoT shop I've even unlocked.

Things bought: Barinade, Nayru's Love, Boes (whatever those are), Goron Shop (for another set of checks), MM Like-Likes (doubt I need them for anything, but might as well), MM Red Rupee, and Spirit Medallion.

Bombchu Bowling is a much more reasonable minigame than most of the crap MM puts you through. It actually feels like skill matters, instead of like the devs personally hate you.

Unfortunately, skill is something I'm... deficient in. Hence the blatantly hacked ammo counts.

Goron shop's pretty lucrative, too. Another MM red rupee, some skulls, and MM Bomb Bag.

And check 40 Skulls since I'm in OoT anyway.

...now the question is, what the hell does it expect me to do?

Oh, right, there's stuff to kill in Forest now. I should get to work on that. This should at least make the waiting less unbearable over in MM, if it works the same.

I can also kill Morpha, come to think of it. Ironic for the progression-starved side of the game to be the first to kill a boss, isn't it?

And doing that, in turn, unlocks the ability to actually do stuff in Spirit finally.

On the one hand, my next trip to the castle will be harder because I actually need to dodge guards now. On the other, new check. I'll call this a win- the guards aren't even that hard to get past.

Not much in the statue room...

...but the silver rupee room, due to being shuffled, is a motherlode now.

There's so much stuff unlocked just with the items in this room!

Okay, yeah, the bombermice are kind of a dud in this context, and the Letter dropped by the spider in the next room I can (and did, repeatedly) circumvent, but everything else locks at least one check! And Oath is hard-required!

In fact I probably just unlocked so much stuff all at once that I'm gonna need to put it in its own update. Granted, it's about time I stop anyway, but still. I just made ALL THE PROGRESS.
