There might be one or two more checks to do in Spirit, but I'll put them off for now in favor of the plethora of checks I unlocked at the end of the last update.

To start off: Chicken wrangling. This is nice- I can actually use those warp points now!

The Letter may not technically unlock anything, but it does make it more convenient to route in Death Mountain. And the local fairy has an incredibly valuable item for me this seed!

Lullaby also makes Zora easier to access, though its item is less valuable. Still makes a check easier for when I get Goron and the big bomb, though!

Castle fairy, meanwhile, is infinitesimally less convenient to visit; not sure if this includes the rolling Gorons or not- I should check later.

And of course, the only difference in the desert fairy is that I can actually check her now.

She does, however, conveniently leave me right next to my next destination: the Well.

I may not be able to do the Dead Hand check proper, but I can still get its invisi-box for Meadow access.

Speaking of which, here's where the Forest Temple entrance goes. Unfortunately I can't do anything here until I find Freezards. Kinda like Keese will unlock a surprising number of checks, since they're so common...

There is a hole I can Storms my way into here, though, so there's that.

Turns out yes, the rolling Goron is, in fact, included in the Goron soul.

Everything else in OoT needs something I don't have right now (mostly souls, honestly), so off to MM for a bit. First priority: minigames. Ugh.

Yes, I know, this is gonna suck, but it's two checks, and I can't afford to skip them just in case they're required.

Unfortunately, I swear the platform doubles its speed with every target you hit... yet another example of the devs blatantly not playtesting their product. Fortunately, I have memory editing; if they don't plan to play fair, I won't either.

After that first round of the couple's minigame, might as well do the town things I have available- namely the dojo and throwing my deed in the toilet. Don't worry, it should be good as new and back in my inventory next cycle.

While I'm waiting for Day 2 H&D BS, might as well head off to do some mop-up in the Swamp Spider House. Damn it feels good to have a sword. Or, well, more of a very large knife, really, but whatever.

I knew I missed a Soaring target in my tracker! Turns out it was Woodfall. That'll make this dungeon more convenient whenever I get that song. And yes, I made sure to hook to the chest behind the statue.

I also Soar to Snowhead for a statue and a hole.

Skipping the process of actually "playing" their minigames (in both senses of the word "skip"), the final reward for the H&D BS Scam Emporium is a required item.

Thankfully that's the last minigame in logic for the moment, and likely the last of the nigh-impossible minigames period, so I should be able to manage the rest of the seed with little issue. Still, though...

Thankfully, as expected, liberal usage of Sun's Song makes the coming of the next cycle a LOT faster.

Anyway, speaking of the new cycle: Trading in the deed to the scrub instead of throwing it in the toilet isn't too useful to me. I've gotta be missing something...

Oh, right, I don't actually need Darunia to open his room or light the torches to start the giant jar spinning.

...This is another big find. Like, REALLY big. Probably even bigger than Zelda's Lullaby.

After all, it means I can finally stop being a kid and start being an adult instead.

Head north to Ganon's Castle for a second to grab a skull...

...before heading out to see what I can find in the new Hyrule. Or older. Whatever applies.

Appropriately, I start where it all began.

Next stop is the lake. For the record: The left image is the top of the lab, since there's no other context to that image. ...Since the eyedrops are randomized separately, I can only assume the old guy actually eats the frog here.

Judging from the tracker's yellow-ness, I'm assuming I can somehow finagle the "dive to the bottom of the lab" check with precise usage of the Iron Boots, but... well, I have no idea how to do it.

Die, sun! I require stuff, and shooting you gives me a check!

Ahem... setting that improbable murderous urge aside, off to Gerudo Valley to Storms myself into a hole real quick.

Followed by another entry in my continuing crusade against arachnids.

Since I'm here, I should raid the Gerudo Fortress for the checks I can do right now, right?

I warp over to the Colossus for a bit; after doing a bit of looking around I'm gonna assume the reason my tracker says the spider on that rock formation southeast of the dungeon entrance is in logic is because it assumes I can hover from the statue's hands or something to that effect. Unfortunately, without Iron Knuckles I can't get up there.

There is a hole full of scrubs to harass, though.

There's still more I can do, but I try to restrain myself re: update sizes. I'll do more next time. Probably involving a lot of swimming, between more Water Temple (unfortunately can't finish it yet due to lack of Dark Link) and the Zora region.
