There isn’t that much to say in terms of strategy. We’re attacking the Saotome facility and Shin Dragon from the north east rather than the south east. You can try to rush to either point of interest for their terrain, but then you’ll be swarmed by so many Invaders that it won’t matter. Advance slowly and as a group. Take advantage of support attacks and defenses. If someone gets low, use a Trust spirit or put them in the Tower for a few turns. Don’t be afraid to defend or evade instead of counter attacking. You’ll still be whittling down their numbers and help will arrive soon.

The League’s grunt suit. The GM of the Victory. Its finisher summons the Shrike Squadron to deal slightly more damage than a beam bazooka. Worse than the Victory in pretty much every way. The Gun-EZ will get automatically upgraded in a few stages so don’t worry about using it. If you do want to use it, the Shrike Attack is only available if the pilot is Oliver or Junko. In fact, the Shrike Attack will be on any Victory-era mobile suit if Oliver or Junko pilots it (except for the V2, but that’s much later).

Have the two groups rendezvous and push back the Invaders. Remember that octopus miniboss from the last chapter? Saotome brought two of them. They’re not on good terrain, so just chip away at them.
Just look at lil Saotome on top of this Metal Beast. Funny how we’ll be seeing this specific Metal Beast a lot in future SRW games.
Also, Shin Getter gets a new attack! Daisetsuzan Oroshi followed by a Getter Tomahawk and finished with a Drill Hurricane. It can be used in any form too. In other games, this Getter Change Attack would change animations based on which form you initiate the attack with, but not this game. Let’s use it on dear ol’ dad.
Let’s finish this stage. Saotome’s Metal Beast’s tongue attack has a unique property in that it will reduce the will of whoever it hits. I would too if that thing hit me. Watch out!
