[MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam and G-Fortress]
It’s not anime, it’s the real story. In short it’s very powerful, but low on starting ammo and EN. It basically needs a Giant Magazine part and EN upgrades to be useful. Otherwise, it’s a normal mobile suit. Also it comes with a Beam Coat for when it’s time to fight Zanscare and can transform into the G-Fortress for movement. Judau is a great UC pilot, so even if you don’t like the ZZ, he’s worth using.
[MSF-007 Gundam Mk-III]
I’m not impressed. I used the Mk-III in SRW R until the endgame, but here it just doesn’t jive with me. It’s neat and underused in Gundam media in general, but I much prefer the other route’s secret. If you want to use it, it upgrades cheap, has 3 part slots, and has some pretty high stat caps.
[Shin Dragon/Liger/Poseidon]
We don’t get to keep it after this stage, but I want to talk about this now. In various SRW games, Armageddon’s Shin Dragon flip flops between being a battleship (a la V) or a deployable unit (like this game). And what a unit this is. It’s basically Shin Getter but more powerful. Shin Dragon has 2 different MAP attacks with various ranges and requirements. Shin Liger can fly and has a bushin to auto dodge attacks. Shin Poseidon has a very cheap and powerful long ranged attack. Once we can keep it for real, it’ll become a powerhouse with investment.
Judau and Roux start out surrounded by Invaders and won’t make it without some Getter support. Use Accel and Shin-2/Shin Liger to rush down there as soon as possible. Focus on keeping the Gundam pilots alive and whittle down the Invaders’ numbers whenever you can. If you can, you can try to line up some Invaders into ZZ’s MAP attack. Benkei has Trust to help keep them alive and Roux can support defend and attack.

There’s four of us and many of them. Stick together and camp inside the nearby asteroid field. You can try to bulk up with Shin-3 and Shin Poseidon, or you can try to dodge with Shin-2 and Shin Liger. Don’t forget the defensive spirits if you really need them, but this part of the stage is a bit long so only use them if you feel it’s necessary. The AI will primarily focus on attacking Shin Dragon due to its size, but don’t expect them to just ignore the other three. Just hold out and thin their numbers until only the Metal Beast Getter Dragon remains. It has 30k HP like its previous boss form and still has the HP and EN regen, but it lacks Saotome’s piloting stats so it should go down quicker.
I don’t normally like using combination attacks, as it uses double the EN for a marginal power increase, but Final Getter Tomahawk is so cool looking I couldn’t resist using it for the final blow. Really shows the scale of size between Shin Getter and Dragon. And Shin Dragon is just a deployable unit in this game too!

Thankfully, Stinger & Cowen lack a MAP attack and have lower movement than their mooks, so by the time they reach you, they’ll be the last ones remaining. Stay calm, retreat into the ship if needed, and try to feed kills to Judau and Roux for the secret if you can.
Can’t believe there’s no boss dialog with Stinger & Cowen. At least they won’t retreat.
Just a personal thing I do, but I like to do the final hit of a series’ final boss with units from that series. Here’s their Double Getter Beam.
Make sure to use Fortune/Luck for the massive payday. The best strategy I can suggest is to stay close to the boss. His strongest attack has a range of 3-10. And he’s vulnerable to Mazinger Z’s Rust Hurricane for the lowered armor.
