This Puzzle is defeating this sole Virgo with these units. If the Libra hits 2600HP, it will retreat and cause a failure. First, have Oliver use Accel and move in closer to hit it with a Beam Rifle. Then have Junko hit it with a Beam Bazooka. These attacks will deal reduced damage, but will leave it just above the retreat cutoff point. Finally, move Sayaka next to Jun and hit the Virgo with your most powerful attacks, making sure to also hit with the support attack.


Victory gives 20k money and an Evasion +15 skill part.

My current plan is to focus some upgrades into the Aile Chevalier as much as possible and finish getting the kill count requirement for Amuro. I’d say we’re on par with the mech stats we need at the moment, so the next few upgrades will probably go into weaponry. Probably.

You cannot imagine how much I love the Black Getter. The Daikessen version too, but I digress. Right now it’s just a cooler version of Benkei’s single seater Getter-1.


There’s a bunch of water between us and the Invaders, so take advantage of that if you can. They deal a lot less damage to units underwater, but at the same time your own units can be weaker when submerged. Shin Getter 3 and Grendy with the Marine Spazer have yet another stage to shine. Hover movement units like the Aile Chevalier or Gerwalk Valkyries also work, which is why I gave the Nu Gundam a Hovercraft. Amuro’s kill count secret’s cutoff point is coming up and he still needs a good dozen or so still, so his role is to snipe kills whenever possible.

Right now the enemies are the same Invaders that we’ve been fighting this whole game and a single evolved Shin Dragon inside the volcano. Take your time and advance as a group, feeding kills to Amuro (and Hilde/Noin if you still need to do that). The biggest thing to be wary of is Shin Dragon has the same kind of MAP attack that the Ruina have, so stay out of its cardinal directions if you can help it. When you get close, be sure to use Hayato’s Confuse spirit.

Shin Getter is back with Ryoma at the helm, but with only two pilots it can’t transform. Just keep advancing and take out every Invader and Metal Beast on the way to the volcano where Shin Dragon awaits. Surprisingly, there’s no boss dialog with Saotome. Just be wary of Shin Dragon’s innate HP and EN regen as well as the fact it’s on good terrain. It also has a Mind Virus part equipped which will sap a unit’s will if it hits. With only 20k HP, it’ll go down faster than you think.



Shooting down Saotome here got Amuro his 50th kill, so I don’t need to worry about that secret anymore.

Defeating Shin Dragon nets a Biosensor, its Mind Virus part, and a Support Defense +1 skill part. It also drops quite a bit of money, so try to double it with Fortune or Luck.

One final push. Shin Getter vs Metal Beast Getter Dragon. What was an amazing fight in the Armageddon OVA is our final objective for this chapter. Though Saotome has 30k HP and there’s no way Shin Getter can solo it along with the hordes of Metal Beast Getter Dragons, Ligers, and Poseidons that spawned. No, while it may seem less epic, it’s best to have Shin Getter regroup with our forces and tackle this like a normal stage. At least Saotome’s Getter Dragon doesn’t have a MAP attack to worry about, just HP and EN regen.

Now that the real Getter Team is back together, Shin Getter can transform once again. Focus on defeating the generic Getter G’s before you tackle Saotome. As long as you have the SP for defensive spirits like Fortitude, Alert, and Trust, there’s little he can do to hurt you. Still no boss dialog which is kinda anti climatic.



Defeating Saotome once and for all nets us a fat stack (use Fortune/Luck if you still have the SP), an Apogee Motor, and both HP and EN Virus parts. Also a Support Attack +1 skill part which will be very useful soon.
